Alaskan1's Flo n Gro Mixed Bag Grow

so did you fix everything A1?

Well I certainly hope so !!!
I looked in the baskets today and saw brown sludge in them. Not much I can do about that at the moment. But I did dump the 24 hr old nute mix and clean the res, filtert bag, all the hoses and controller again in bleach. I'm gonna need stock in bleach soon at this rate.
Put everything back together and refilled the res with 3/4 nutes and just put in the H202 at 3ml per gallon. After the H202 has bubbled and churned for an hour or so I'll go add the hygrozyme that I bought a gallon of today. I will add 6ml per gallon of that.

Everything looked a TON better today. NO FOAM!!!!!!! No ring around the res either so I think I caught it soon enough and hit it hard enough I took the wind out of it's sails. I have been working hard at keeping the res around 65 degrees
I have 2 4in airstones in each res until this crap is gone. H202 will be a weekly ritual in my res every change from now on.

I know I'm really behind in keeping up on all my journals I'm subscribed to but just been super busy as of late....sorry everyone

Hi A1 :thumb:

Glad things are getting back on track for you. I think I've been around you guys too long! I'm starting to understand what your talking about. :high-five:

I know you like the social part of 420, but we'll all still be there when you have time to visit. Home grow first! :surf:

:thanks: OMM, think I finally have things under better control. Res temp tonight was 58.8 :headbang: Lowest I have ever seen it. I had the AC workin overtime!
The roots look a little dark, not the bright white they were a week ago. Will have to see what they look like in a weeks time but even through all this those plants still grew a crapload. I fell like I have the situation under a better control right now.
Been having heat issues with my other res so I wrapped it in insulation and stuck some frozen litre bottles inside. Hopefully that will help get the temps back down to a respectable level. I feel good about the work I got accomplished today/tonight.

Thanks OMM for your continued support my friend:bravo::thankyou::high-five::cheertwo:

Man, that's great! Working the old butt off again. I'm loving that the plants just kept on growing....they like it. Your doing something right! No thanks needed...I like us all to succeed. :surf:

YThey said to use the normal feeding schedule and either use the H202 or Hygrozyme but not both together. They said one will cancel out the other.

Both reps said that either H202 or Hygrozyme will ward off root rot but not to be used together.

This is kinda right, kinda off from what I understand. While I too mentioned not using Hygrozyme with the h202, I mentioned it when using a large dose of h202 as treatment.

It's supposed to be ok to use both if you're only using small amounts of h202. However, I should mention I only use h202 as a treatment when needed. Some folks use small amounts constantly. I was told not to do that. Peroxide will kill benificials as well as baddies. And some hydro store employee told me if you use peroxide constantly it can create an immunity to the peroxide which we really dont want in case of emergency treatment needs.

I have been doing ALOT of reading this afternoon while sippin my coffee Bass. if you go*gle " H202 usage in cannabis" there is a TON of information out there. Not once did I ever read that plants become immune to it from constant usage.
From what I have read, H202 and Hygrozyme can be used together. It's best if you add the hygrozyme a few hours after adding the H202 as the H202 is most potent and active right after being introduced into the system.
You are very correct that after 3 days the H202 is pretty much dissapated from the system. Personally, (my thoughts only mind you) that if you used 1/2 the recommended amounts every 3 days that this would pretty much ward off any chances of getting root rot especially if the res temps are kept below 68 degrees. :Namaste::peace:
