Yikes! Seems like you've had a "crash course" with challenges coming from all directions. Welcome to growing!

Sure sorry you've had to deal with the hiccups, but each one is a learning experience I suppose. I've sure had some close calls with the lights -- I'm usually doing things by myself and I'm not really as strong or as coordinated as I once was, but I tend to forget this too often. More than once I've been inches from destroying the plants or myself trying to move or hang lights. I think you did the right thing by culling the 2 with the root aphids. Let them :rip:. You can fill those tents up with fewer plants, too. It doesn't take many if you bush them out or move them horizontally under a screen for example...

EDIT: Oh, and Jandre - nice post on that diatomatopus earth stuff. It sounds like the MMJ of soil ammendments --> Good for almost everthing, and as Jandre pointed out, it can even be used as an "edible". Yeah, I spelled it wrong, but too lazy to look up spellin' it right. ;) Was gonna rep you Jandre for a great post, but must have done it too recently.

Yeah, your right. By my mistakes I learn. I'm still pretty strong for my age. Things like leaning into an engine compartment for long periods is what gets me.

The bad plants were in the 4x4 tent and not the biger 4x8 tent. We are bleaching the 4x4 tent so we can put the mothers in in.

Glad to see you here my friend. I know your busy with things but miss having you around.

Image 1 is a girl, Image 2 I can't see the parts in question... Image 3 is a boy. Image 4 is same plant as image 3, right?

You into classic/muscle cars at all? I've got a few faves... 67-68 Camaros (Firebirds were pretty cool, too), and 65-67 GTO's and 64 1/2-66 Mustangs are all cars I'd like to own (or have owned). Some really great cars in the late 60's.

you def got 1 girl, but the third picture looks like a boy but its only got on grape on it, could let it go a couple more days and see what happens, but by the looks of that grape it looks like it could be male, but the first pic is 100%fem,

Heheh, Thanks for the attempt at rep and the complement! I love to share little nuggets like that.

78 Grand-Am 301 2bbl. Solid and ran like a bat outa hell. First of the line. Modified from the Le Mans. The Hydromatic 200 was a problematic transmission though, kept losing reverse. But 1 through 3 (that's all there were) would get it to 150 pretty quickly...

A1 -

Just posted to a reply of yours in Smallzz's journal, but wasn't sure when you'd see it. Check this out if you're still in the process of putting together/installing another flo n gro:

Smallzz - Flow n Grow - K.O Kush F4 - 2012

Quick connects for the 3/4" hoses/tubing. Brilliant idea, Mr Smith...

not just top growers, also top petrol heads as well, im a mechanic by trade but dont get american cars over here, instead im into my sierra cosworth and escort cosworth and jap cars like mitsubishi evo, etc, hot hatchbacks and jap inports, the cars from my country are jaguar and aston martin

id love a big engined american car, but they dont sell them here, instead we make do with out 1.2litre engines and 2litre engines with twin turbos etc etc, and jap cars, subaru impreza and honda civic, but i prefer the older cars like ford escort xr31 and ford escort rs turbo, very quick cars, but i have always like the sound american cars make,

Funny you should mention something like this.

My dad owned a car dealership. I started working there when I was 8 years old. I owned a lot of cars in my time because of this. 55 Chev 2 dr post, AMC AMX, And one of my favs.......1978 Ford pinto.........turbocharged! I currently a 1978 MG I am restoring.
Being my dad owned a dealership I got to drive alot of different cars in my life. I was a pretty lucky kid.

Congrats on the girls A1.

X I agree some very nice cars in the late 60's. I would like to get a 69 RS/SS Camaro.

Love that car, but I prefer the 68. I like the RS/SS best, too. RS hideaway headlights and options, SS performance. Sweet!

69's felt a little wide looking for my tastes, but still super cool. I think I'm in the minority on that, as it seems like many prefer the 69 to the 68's or 67's.

I'm the same with the GTO. I like the 65 best, 66 next, and 67 least - but I think most people like the 67 best from what I can tell. I just liked the taillights and rear end on the 65 so much better.

AMX! I used to really want an AMC Javelin SST, Mark Donohue signature model. Cool car!! I learned to drive in an AMC Pacer, now there's a car - lol!!

How's the new Flo N Gro - all set up now? I'd definitely like to put some of those connections of Mr Smiths on mine eventually. Stinks taking those hoses on and off, though you don't have to do it often...

Love the SCROG screen, no matter what it should help with training them and gives you something to tie down too even if you don't run them under the screen. :thumb:

It's set up but not ready to go yet. I have another week until the clones are ready to go in the buckets. This will give me time to run some Clearex through the system.

I would like a more even canopy but I have indicas and sativas growing at the same time. Plus I had clones that were ready at different times.
Nexy grow will be a little different and I will more then likely install the scrog netting earlier. More like when I flip them.
