Alaskan1's Flo n Gro Mixed Bag Grow

Currently looks like I have a bunch of dead aphids now. I'm going to take the plants out. wash the roots REALLY well. Wipe the buckets down of the dead bugs and put them back in.

Next step will be to go thru the new plants and inspect all 17 buckets for the critters.

After that is all done I'm going to get the atomizer out and spray all the plants with AzaMax.

Took 24 clones tonight from the plants we have in veg, some will be mother and others turned for the next grow which will be starting in two weeks. It will be a all Sativa dom grow. Head Cheese, AK47, White Widow, White Russian, Mojo, Urban Posion.
Grow after that will be an all indica grow.

Clones I took look like they need viagra after they got cut and put into the EZ Cloner lol I sprayed them with thrive alive green which has kelp in it. Suppose to promote root growth.

I have to tell everyone about this cool tool I got. It atomizes fluids so that not so much is used or wasted. When treating my plants with AzaMax foliar spray it would take me an hour to do 4 plants. Had to pull each one out of the tent and then onto a tarp. Get AzaMax all over the place and all over myself. THEN, I had to clean the mess. With this cool little tool from start to finish it took me 15 minutes for 21 plants. This includes clean up !!!!!!

cant wait to see the results, what ive noticed from all the journals i read the plants dont need to be that big before you put them to flower, i was wondering how long to veg for before the switch, do i go on height or amount of branches the plant has got, i dont want to veg for ages, but ive got 4 plants and dont know if i have females or not, 1 plant is femenised seed so hoping at least i have got one, but basically i dont want to veg for long time but i dont want to do a really short veg and reduce the yield, im undecided at when to switch but trying to read other journals so i can see when other growers switch and what sort of results are gained from flipping at that hieght,

how high would you say your plants are at now your switching the lights to flower

WHOO HOOO you finally got to flip them! that PH/PPM meter is REAL nice i'm impressed, bet that cost a pretty penny. hows the aphids infestation doing? i seen earlier there was nothing but good news so im hoping you got them all.

now about your mist machine for chemicals, that is the coolest invention i've ever seen that thing is cool, when you told me about it i didnt explect that i thought it was a small version of what you have. you got a nice pic of it in action though!

When to flip the plants is different for each person and grow. I have some plants at are 24 inches tall and some that are only 12 inches tall. Different plants grow at different rates. I basically went with how my tallest plants were growing. If I let them grow too long they will get out of control later and out grow the tent.

That's one of Hanna's better meters. I was tired of burning through the cheaper meters. I think the meter was 275.00

Lotsa dead aphids. I still have the azamax in the bubbler buckets and have been pouring that mix down through the rockwool in the net pots. Tonight I'm going to change the nutes in the buckets to half the regular nute amounts and full strength H202 and Hygrozyme.

Yeah the mist machine is wicked cool and saves a TON of time and wasted product. I think I'm going to do a product review on it.

Hey Ak1, stopping by to see how things are going in your neck of the woods, hopping you'd have good news!:thumb: Makes me happy your Dwc girls are felling better:cheertwo:

I'm getting excited to see the girls that just flipped start flowering :MoreNutes:

My DWC girls are stable aqt the moment. They are still in "ICU"
I didn't see any more live bugs so thats a good thing. This will be that last damn time I use 5 gal DWC buckets though.

Yeah you and me both on the flowering. In 3 weeks I'll be putting netting up for the girls. They are just growing so damn fast. I was really unsure of using the Technoflora nute line but they seem to be liking the stuff. :MoreNutes:

I don't think you need to foliar feed with a DWC. just my 2c. I quit foliar feeding a while ago and I have had many less issues.

I was hitting the Plants with AzaMax since my other tent had root aphids. I also saw a few nibbled on leaves which made me worried so I gave them a shot because of that as well.

Even though I don't foliar feed my plants other then the clones I did not know that tid bit of info. Thanks SpaceGhost! :thanks:

Loved that show btw, SpaceGhost coast to coast :thumb:
