That's right. It must be lit up like the sun in there! It's no wonder it took some creativity to keep it cool... I'm more than a little jealous of your lighting - can't wait to see how they flower. :cheertwo:

Just wait until I have all 6 lights going in there. Think it's hot now? Wait till summer lol My air conditioner will be working overtime as all 3 tents are going.

2k should do fine. But for fun you could add 600 in the middle. woot. But not needed.
 
Hey Alaskan, try to move the runts directly under the lamps into the "sweet spot" to let them catch up if possible to the bigger plants. Put the biggest/bushiest plants into the 4 outside corners to keep them from covering the little guys. The biggest issue with this system is trying to run multiple strains and keeping everybody in the light. Otherwise it is looking great. Your water is slightly hard 80 -100 ppm would be ideal. You shouldn't have any problems in the flo n gro....don't add calmag unless you have a deficiency.

I think I am going to run them one more week and then flip them things to bloom!

Thanks for the vote of confidence Quix, I am not so sure myself if I can save it. Looking pretty weak and 3rd week in bloom. We shall see.

Agreed. If I didn't like variety so much, I'd run clones of one strain at a time to make things so much less challenging. Very nice tip.
 
hey bud keep those White Russians you cut from my plant on close watch.

remember earlier how my update was all good news? well i checked the rez earlier and she i had foam coming out of the top of my bucket..there was 5 inches of foam in there. my patience was thin today so i ended up ripping the plant to shreds after i looked at my foamy bucket in awe for about 5 seconds. i wasn't mentally prepared to start nursing a plant back to health that i just brought back from the dead.

i didnt see 1 sign of problems from both WR's untill bloom. keep an eye on them buddy i'd feel like shit if this spread throughout your whole grow!

I've never had root aphids, but Azamax is good stuff. Be careful of your HID lighting when you spray them. They can get burned from the lights when sprayed if too intense. I throw a couple of flouros in the room and shot off the HID lamps when I spray stuff like Azamax. Really a bummer that you are having to deal with these challenges, but you sure are getting a learning experience. Welcome to growing!

I thought of putting Azamax in with my nutrients in the Flo N Gro when I had the thrip scare, but realized an ounce a gallon was a bit steep for my Azamax supply, and damn that would get expensive quick! Great solution for your DWC bucket, though I'll bet it did get foamy. Azamax is good stuff though, so hopefully you'll get it fixed up.

Well, I have never had them either. Makes me worry my other tent with the healthy looking plants maybe infested as well. I'll have to closely look tomorrow.
That AzaMax is some wonderful stuff but yeah, your're it's just nuts crazy spendy. Can you imagine having to put that in a 55 gal res? The 1 oz was for heavy infestation and hard to get rid of pests.
