Plants are still looking extremely happy and there seems to have been no noticeable increase in height in the past 2 days
Just to be on the safe side, I might wait until day 20 to switch back from the MH to the HPS to be sure that stretch period is completely over.
The girls have been very good recently so I decided that I wanted to treat them so I got them 2 new nutrients
Bio-Bizz , Bio-Heaven to start immediately and
SUPERBOOST BLOOM which is to be started 4 weeks into flower
The information on them will be quoted above the pictures
All of the girls were given the addition of
Bio-Heaven today at just over half the concentration, It is supposed to increase the plants average mineral uptake from ( 5% - 10% ) up to 95%
Ms. Sativa and
Ms. Tropical both had another trim underneath the canopy today, It is being done in small sections every day or two so that the pruning will not be too much of a shock or stress to them at once and it shouldn't be enough to cause them to stretch any more
Underneath the canopy will be completely cleared on day 20 along with the switch back to the HPS.
One of the two 6" osculating fans had become completely engulfed by the canopy and was not doing its job so it was removed and placed underneath the canopy, blowing up through it. This should stop the air underneath the canopy from becoming stagnant and should provide great air circulation and stop the thickness of the canopy from becoming an Air Barrier. The other 6" osculating fan is just above the canopy blowing directly over the tops and it seems to be working really well
There has been another boost in calyx and pistil development and there are now very visible formations of Trichomes on a lot of the tops, you can see clearly in the 3rd picture. I didn't think that Trichomes would begin to appear this soon into flower ?
