AfricanGrower's 1st Hydro Journal - Ebb&Flow - Bubblelicious 2013

Re: AfricanGrower's 1st Hydro Journal-Ebb&Flow/Bubblelicious 2013

Mini Update

I did not plan to train this lady THIS much prior to putting to the trellis, but since I only have one plant to fill up that huge screen, I have bent over some of those annoyingly tall branches. This really shed some light to all that inner growth, and hopefully I should have over 35+ tops pushing through the screen by the time I put it on.

Re: AfricanGrower's 1st Hydro Journal-Ebb&Flow/Bubblelicious 2013

Haha, most definitely Sling. I think 'scroggy' might be the appropriate word for my future situation!

>>>nice vid AG. Plants are looking good. 1 more question, do you leave your tent open all the time?

Hey Shaft, to answer your question: no, I do not leave my tent open all the time. In fact I rarely have it open, I limit my self to look at the plants AT MOST once a day before each feeding to give myself a chance to adjust nutrients if 'something' states to develop.

I know it must be extremely hot over where you are, so leaving your tent opened is a good a idea to avoid heat stress. I used to leave my PC box open when growing in summer months and I completely understand how hard it is growing in the heat as in my home country it is pretty much hot all year round.

Re: AfricanGrower's 1st Hydro Journal-Ebb&Flow/Bubblelicious 2013

HAHAHAHA :rofl::rofl::rofl: That owl had me dying on the floor Rico! Completely did not expect that one and of course I happen to be blazed!

Thanks for the well wishes, I hope the plants survive another weekend without me!

Re: AfricanGrower's 1st Hydro Journal-Ebb&Flow/Bubblelicious 2013

AG, I started another journal. If you sub, will you go through the timeline on page 2 and suggest anything you want? I'll be pretty much doing the same grow as you're doing now.

Re: AfricanGrower's 1st Hydro Journal-Ebb&Flow/Bubblelicious 2013

Enjoy your trip my brother from another mother.:high-five:

Re: AfricanGrower's 1st Hydro Journal-Ebb&Flow/Bubblelicious 2013

I know, I caught the hint earlier this week.

Re: AfricanGrower's 1st Hydro Journal-Ebb&Flow/Bubblelicious 2013

Sky, I will get caught up on your journal as soon as I am off of work. The cellphone buttons become so tedious after a while!

Been there done that. To add insult to injury, my phone used to input random words all throughout what I was typing as if it were hacked and someone else was controlling the key pad. I have a slide phone and it was still too much grief.

Wow, I am super stoked Lavernz! That is really appreciated bro :)

Thank you guys for joining, take a seat and keep your eyes peeled

NOW time to get to Skybound's new journal as I have been neglecting a good friend's progress ;)

21/10/13

BIG update all! How is everyone? Everything is well on this side, and to add everything went well this weekend! I came back to find PPMs at 492 and pH at 6.2. I added 5ml of CaMg to the ~8gallon res which brought PPMs to 502 (perfect) and pH down to 6.0.

I also replaced the supplement lighting from the bagseed to the Bubb for the weekend, just to note how much more inward growth there is in comparison. Note these are pictures of the Bubb on the 15/10/13 when I did my last LST.

Below are pictures of here today. She is noticeably growing inward toward the 46w of CFL hanging from the center, evening out the canopy a bit more ;)

Here are the biggest growth's of the two TOPs from last week.

Here are the smallest growths from last week's TOPing

I also took the lady to do a light defol and notice how VIGOROUS her growth has been the past few days. Note in the picture below how her roots are over 3 inches out of the drain in less than a week since transplanting!

Now for the bagseed.

Some bad news. The FIMd bagseed is looking to be male. It has very nice growth and would make for a very nice spread in a screen. I recommend anyone who does a multi-plant ScrOG to FIM their seedling at the 4th node to maximize that screen ;)

Here is the bagseed I am planning on lollipopping. Before I switch to 12/12 I plan on removing MOST of the growth below the marked red line.

Here is the the TOPd bagseed.Neither this one nor the 'lollipop' have shown definite signs of preflowering, but the overall pheno of these genetics are that the show early sex, within 4weeks of seed! Note these are not AutoFlowers.

Here's a little game for you guys. Can you guess if these two leaves are from the same pheno plant or not? :nomo:

I'm guessing they are not from the same plant?

Jorge Cervantes called, he wants his plant back! ha ha... looking beautiful mi amigo.

Your grandpa called, he wants his pajamas back :-)

And I like your cat. Does he protect your weed plants from squirrels?

>>>I'm guessing they are not from the same plant?

Who knows? Can't solve the question with a question ;)

HA your sense of humor really does make my liver ache in pain  I'm taking another bong hit for that that squirrel did to me!

But did you know JC is my grandpa and he once told me me something:

Jorge Cervantes(grandpa) said:
Hey AG go get 'em nephew :MoreNutes:

Them leaves look lil different but they could be from the same plant I spose lol... I dunno pheno from leaves other than this one Indica we had out here that had leaves looked kinda like Maple leaves and not sure but I think many years ago 420 featured that in the magazine!

Great progress AG! +REPs for being a pioneer. Using the supplemental CFL to force growth where you wanted it was genius. Maybe having a bulb attached to one of those microphone wands like tellers use or attached to a podium. Then you could place the bulb anywhere in the arm's reach. You got my motor spinning!
