I just got back from picking up L2 (Lavender) from the trimmers. Looks like 202 g (7 1/8 oz). Sweet!
That's better than I thought:
I donated PS.3A and PS.3B and I tossed CryLo.3A and CryLo.3B. They were nearly dead anyway, and I don't expect to need them. That means no more Purple Sage unless I trade for one (which I can do at anytime), and the only Crystal Locomotive I have left is CryLo.2B. If the CryLo in the jar isn't better in a month or so, she will vanish as well.

Tonight I cut down L3 and took her to the trimmers.
I also put MT4 and MT5 into the bloom room. This is their day zero. Anticipated harvest on or around 9/15.
The next harvest is over a month away. My stash has grown to nearly 1 lb. I think I'll get by.

So wouldn't you know it, as soon as I get the bloom AC comfortably squared away, the veg AC starts to fail. I was 91 F when I got here. Luckily the veg plants are fine, especially since I'm feeding them. It's 88 F in here now, so I'm still unhappy, but I can't do anything really right now. The AC is working it's little aluminum butt off up there but it's in over it's head I think. What air it is cooling doesn't circulate much.
Today was a scorcher (for here - 96 F) and the grow structure is on the hot south side of the house with no shade. 5K btu doesn't really cut it under those circumstances anyway. I'll try to assist circulation and limp along. I won't have the money to do anything about it until Tuesday at the earliest. Then I'll be able to pick up a bigger AC and fix this mess.
Meanwhile, bloom is fine, with temps maxing at 80 F. I can't wait to do the expansion so that I'll have room for dual 18K ACs. Redundancy makes me more comfortable.

L3 produced 122.6 g (4 oz, 9.2 g). Not great compared to my other plants, but worth it. She only takes 45 days to be good. 55 to be fantastic.
I worked up a plan for the new space. I'm still refining it, but when it's done I'll post it. I love Visio.

OK, so here it is. First, the existing space. Yes, there is a lot of blank space at the top. It is there for comparison with the second pic:
As you can see, that is a bit cramped. I realize that others work with less, but I'm tired of tripping over things and trying to store too much in the space I have. So here is my expansion plan:

OK, so here it is. First, the existing space. Yes, there is a lot of blank space at the top. It is there for comparison with the second pic:
As you can see, that is a bit cramped. I realize that others work with less, but I'm tired of tripping over things and trying to store too much in the space I have. So here is my expansion plan:
A few notes on the new plan:
- The wall between veg and bloom in the existing setup is only a temporary structure made with 2x4s and plywood (on one side), then insulated and covered with panda (on the other side). I'll be able to remove it and the door it holds without much trouble.
- The double doors that open to the new location for the flood table in veg will likely be 2 30" doors installed side-by-side if I can't find french doors that are airtight for a reasonable price.
- The isolation in veg provides a quarantine space for incoming plants.
- The isolation spaces in bloom will likely be enclosed with panda plastic and are there to provide a dark space for the 36 hours before a harvest.
- The sink will actually be a shower stall and will be 18-24" off the floor (mixing station).
- The thin wall between the veg side isolation and full table may be shrunk to as thin as 1/2" if necessary, as needed to fit.
- Note the dishwasher ('DW') and range (stovetop/oven), both used, which will allow me to cook edibles and wash jars/tools/etc without pissing off the wife by doing those things in the kitchen.
- CF is short for Carbon Filter.
- All of the walls around the new space will be 6" walls with staggered 2x4 studs and will be insulated. This helps with heat and noise issues.
