Right. I got the top plate and about 1/3 of the studs for one wall in including framing a door. That's 7 studs, 5 cripple studs over the door, 2 king studs, and 2 stringers. All toenailed top and bottom, which is why it takes so long. That, and I'm a stoned non-carpenter.
I'll put up the whole process at one point, but here's something to tide y'all over. First, a shot of some of the anchors embedded in the garage floor:
Here's a shot that shows what I have done, more or less. There is a huge pile of stuff right where I wanted to stand to take a pic, so... :
And for those who are puzzled by what I mean when I say I'm using staggered studs, this:
Here's a picture I took the night before last. I had a joint in my mouth and I dropped it while leaning over a batch of nutrients. The saucer under is wet enough to ruin the joint. The inside of the bucket would clearly ruin it. But Jah is good, and it landed the only place it could land and stay dry:
