Aberration Goes Ker Bloom! - Perpetual

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

They are all in 10 gallon pots except OC7. She's in a 6 gallon bag. I pulled back on the volume for MTN2 by 1/4 gallon:

Code:
--> MTO2, MTO3, OC6, OC7, MTN3:
1. Pre-flush: 1/2 gal. each
   Per gal:
	 1 T liquid bone meal
   pH adjusted to 6.24 @ 21.2 C

2. Feed: 1 gal. for MTO2, MTN3 & MTO3; 3/4 gal. for OC6 & OC7
   Per gal:
	 2 t liquid bone meal
         1 T Calcium Syrup
	 2 t Biggest Bloom
	 1 t Soil Nute
	 1 t PGE
	 1 t Cal-Mag
	 1 t Feather Tea
	1/2 t Carbon sweet
	 1 oz yucca
	 1 oz Amino Blast
	 1 T Notrazyme
Raised with Bioactive to 1375 ppm
   pH adjusted to 6.22 @ 21.0 C

I forgot to add the Companion, but they get so much they'll probably not notice.

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

Nice photos man. As always, thanks for sharing your secrets with us...

Of course - that's why I'm here. Thank you. I promise to post more pics soon - just not tonight.

Code:
--> MTO2, MTO3, OC6, OC7, MTN3:
1. Pre-flush: 1/2 gal. each
   Per gal:
	 1 T liquid bone meal
   pH adjusted to 6.25 @ 19.8 C

2. Feed: 1 gal. for MTO2, MTN3 & MTO3; 3/4 gal. for OC6 & OC7
   Per gal:
	 2 t liquid bone meal
         1 T Calcium Syrup
	 2 t Biggest Bloom
	 1 t Soil Nute
	 1 t PGE
	 1 t Cal-Mag
	 1 t Feather Tea
	1/2 t Carbon sweet
	 1 oz yucca
	 1 oz Amino Blast
	 1 T Notrazyme
Raised with Bioactive to 1450 ppm
   pH adjusted to 6.22 @ 19.9 C
	1/2 t Companion
Code:
--> BD, G13xGB:
1. Transplanted to 2 gal pots with myco.

2. Fed to saturation
   Per gal:
	 2 T Bioactive
         1 oz. Yucca
   Natural at 420 ppm
   pH adjusted to 6.22 @ 19.8 C
	1/2 t Companion
	 1 t Bt-i

As you can see, I transplanted the two smallest girls into 2 gallon pots. The roots were just starting to circle the inside of the pots they were in, so they were ready. I expect them to take off from here, and frankly, get out of hand long before I'm ready for them. ;)

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

I found spider mites on KK2. Don't find any on the other plants, but I'll hit all of veg with Azatrol. I'll have to do it without the fogger this time, so it'll be the pump sprayer instead.

Code:
--> All veg:
1. Spray for spider mites; in hot water:
   Per gal:
	 4 t Azatrol
	 1 oz. yucca
   1st gal: pH 6.4 @ 41.9 C
   2nd gal: pH 6.4 @ 38.9 C
Code:
--> MTO2, MTO3, OC6, OC7, MTN3:
1. Pre-flush: 1/2 gal. each
   Per gal:
	 1 T liquid bone meal
   pH adjusted to 6.34 @ 21.5 C

2. Feed: 1 gal. for MTO2, MTN3 & MTO3; 3/4 gal. for OC6 & OC7
   Per gal:
	 2 t liquid bone meal
         1 T Calcium Syrup
	 2 t Biggest Bloom
	 1 t Soil Nute
	 1 t PGE
	 1 t Cal-Mag
	 1 t Feather Tea
	1/2 t Carbon sweet
	 1 oz yucca
	 1 oz Amino Blast
	 1 T Notrazyme
Raised with Bioactive to 1450 ppm
   pH adjusted to 6.21 @ 21.1 C
	1/2 t Companion
Code:
--> ORTW, CryLo, SchB, PS, BD, G13xGB, KK2:
1. Fed to saturation
   Per gal:
1 t Pure Blend Pro Grow
	 1 t Cal-Mag
         1 oz. Yucca
   Natural @ 600 ppm
   pH adjusted to 6.26 @ 21.3 C
	1/2 t Companion

--> TBD1:
1. Fed to saturation
   Per gal:
1 t Pure Blend Pro Grow
	 1 t Cal-Mag
         1 oz. Yucca
Raised w/ Bioactive to 700 ppm
   pH adjusted to 6.27 @ 21.2 C
	1/2 t Companion

Pictures and Status! :grinjoint:

Here's a general shot of most of veg. Left to right is TBD1, CryLo, KK2, G13xGB, PS; that's BD in the back on the far right. You can't see ORTW or SchB in this shot, but trust me - they look the same:

SS855906-veg-group.JPG

Here's TBD1 with a lighter on the pot edge for reference. That's a 10 gal pot. As soon as she has had 2 weeks of Azatrol, she goes into bloom - currently targeted for 12/14. She's healthy and at 700 ppm:

SS855907-tbd1.JPG

Here's PS. She's at 600 ppm and doing fine. She's still sporting that silly white duct tape stem cap. I need to do what I did to KK1 and just hit it with a small bit of simple latex caulk. The last time there didn't seem to be any side effect, and it sealed the stem nicely. I say it every time, but I can't wait to smoke her:

SS855908-ps.JPG

Here's BD and G13xGB. They are both growing great. With PS, these two are the core of my next run I think. 600 ppm for now:

SS855909-bd-g13xgb.JPG

Here's a shot of BD. This Blue Dream is so sativa-looking. I'm excited:

SS855912-bd.JPG

Here's PS from overhead:

SS855913-ps.JPG

Here's a nice overview of G13xGB:

SS855915-g13xgb.JPG

This naughty girl is, I believe, the source of my recent spider mites. This is KK2. She is supposed to really be Kaia Kush. Whatever. I'm mothering her for someone. Some reward, eh? At least I should get cuts:

SS855916-kk2.JPG

Here's a sweep of the budding:

You may have noticed in the last picture that OC6 is growing across the door. In fact, I have to duck and nearly crawl under. Lol! So here's a pic from the outside side of the door. If you look you can see how bad it's getting:

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

Mr. Aberation,

You're inspiring. I read through your first journal tonight. I have just finished your second one and am floored. Not only are you methods clear and concise. But you're an intelligent grower who is providing a wealth of knowledge on the subject of growing. Your room is an example to all of us for cleanliness and control. Not only that but your plants have gotten progressively bigger and healthier and more beautiful with each flowering cycle.

You have my envy and respect.
Thank you!

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

Thank you. The idea is to give enough detail that someone could copy me and get similar results if they so chose. My success with my methods might inspire someone to hybridize it with something they do and end up with an even better result. More likely, someone might be able to spot something dumb I am doing. Either way, more detail is my best chance for someone to benefit.

It is nice to hear I'm doing well though. I try to keep my head from getting big. ;)

Code:
--> All:

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

There was a small population of clones that I had written off, but never threw out, still in the cloning tray. Two were still hanging on, despite almost no light or water. Since they are clearly tenacious and come from a real producer (OC), I'll give in and see if they can survive transplant. If they make it, I might keep one or both for the future.

I also started garlic chive seeds in 26 3" pots of soil-less coco mix I had on hand. 🤷

SS855955-garlic-chives-and-oc6-clones.JPG

So...
Code:
--> 2 x OC6 (clones), 26 x garlic chives (seed)
1. Into 3" pots, OCs with myco.

2. Fed to saturation
   Per gal:
	 2 T Bioactive
         1 oz. Yucca
   Natural at 425 ppm
   pH adjusted to 6.27 @ 20.5 C
	1/2 t Companion
	 1 t Bt-i

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

damn you have a field of colas going.DAmn thats going to be fun harvesting.

Actually, it's already become a nightmare. They are too big. 4 of them are the semi worthless Orange Cream. I am having a hard time keeping the humidity below 70% and no one in town has any dehumidifiers (everyone is looking for them).

So to cope, I have made a sacrifice. Believe it or not, I completely took down two of them (OC7 and MTN3). I just cut them up and bagged them. They are so early they are useless. At 31 days (of 75) they were budding all over. It was strange cutting it up and bagging it like that, but I think it is the right thing.

I know anyone that has been watching me long has seen my tendency to take practical measures rather than being sentimental when it comes to plant loyalty. And I'm sure everyone is going to think I'm nuts. Maybe I am.

Thing is, there was no room. They were causing problems for each other. And I would have had a whole lot more of that less-than-desirable OC. I am getting two other plants that are ready now and will mature in approx 55 days, so the newcomers will only finish 10 days behind. I will have better bud and denser nugs.

I am just growing for stash and giveaway after all.

I am still learning. This time, I learned how to grow way too big for my space. Next time, I'll try to avoid making the same mistake.

Then on top of that, I'm leaving you all (and myself as well) with a cliffhanger here. I am going away for most of a week. My grow will be maintained by my mentor while I am gone, so it will be fine. But the time away will still be difficult. I may be able to post from where I am going, but I may not. I'll try to keep up with the thread. I just won't be able to take pics or report the daily feeding.

For tonight (12/9):

Code:
--> MTO2, MTO3, OC6:
1. Pre-flush: 1/2 gal. each
   Per gal:
	 1 T liquid bone meal
   pH adjusted to 6.23 @ 19.6 C

2. Feed: 1 gal. each
   Per gal:
	 2 t liquid bone meal
         1 T Calcium Syrup
	 2 t Biggest Bloom
	 2 t Soil Nute
	 2 t PGE
	 1 t Cal-Mag
	 2 t Feather Tea
	1/2 t Carbon sweet
	 1 oz yucca
	 1 oz Amino Blast
	 1 T Notrazyme
Raised with Bioactive to 1500 ppm
   pH adjusted to 6.25 @ 19.8 C
	1/2 t Companion

--> All veg:
1. Fog for spider mites; in hot water:
   Per gal:
	 2 t yucca
	 4 t Azatrol
	 4 t Notrazyme
	 1 T Ful-power
   pH 6.4 @ 39.8 C

Until next time...

:peace:

Re: Aberration Goes ker Bloom! - 2009

I too have had to cut down big trees in my room at one point, because they were just a waste of space. However, they were mexican brickseed plants that had little to no resin, just big budding trees of nothing.

Abb, you really are right no matter what anyone says. You knew it wasn't going to work out with those extra 2 in there, so instead of being a clown and trying to appease yourself by attempting to make it work, you did what you had to do,

I check this grow every day so it sux knowing you will be gone :(

oh well... keep up the amazing job!
