Wow it’s been a while and never thought you could beat that outdoor monster awhile back but after scrolling thru your journal I can say you’ve defs lived up to your reputation! So you’re ruining Barney’s Farm 12/12 from the start with only 2 gallons soil?? Whoa thats insane- color me impressed!!

Use a lot more water than you think you need. Then rinse again.
Good luck, I've never gotten a good return from bubble hash. I think I use too much material and not enough water. I'm still trying, though.
Change out the drain hose for the washing machine to a smooth hose.

Sup brother its coming along nicely 8 days in total on the dry from hanging into boxes and paper bags. Into jars the RH has been in the range of 58to65 which i tracked over a 12hour period had a couple of burps since.

It's okay to stretch out the cure out. I get the best results when I do. It can be hard waiting sometimes.
Hey BudMan, thanks for the info. Good tip on the hose. They used a ribbed hose for trichome water. Can't help but picture a gold sluice. The hose will need to stay for today. It will be changed for the next round.
I decided to go with some Strawberry Cheesecake auto. It has nice colours. Not sure what is best but will break it down into small pieces and then throw outside to freeze before starting. It's cold today. -8c

I've always used trim. I usually have plenty in RDWC that is covered in trics. One day I'll have to try with some bud.

I went with the bud. I have no idea if it was a good result yet or not. I like the colors.
After I chop the last, I'll try with the trim. Up until now have been throwing it away.
I made 3 rinses with 3 diferent screen sizes. 25, 73 and 220 micron.
It's worth the wait.Thanks bud they were a real joy to grow my best results to date

I was able to try some from the 73 micron. It is pretty much full melt and tasty. I haven't had a good high like that in a long time.
The 220 is mostly plant matter that escaped the first wash bag. The wash bag is also a 220 mic bag that closes.

I took the last plant, the sativa tester from the tent this morning. It will sit a couple days more before chopping. It is not so pretty anymore. .
It is so nice not having the fan and vent sounds in the background. It starts slow with the hum of the humidifier. By the end its loud.

The hash making was a success, so much so I used the 2nd bag of Ice and made another batch with some outdoor Dos Si Dos 33 from Oct 2021. I didn't know what it would take ice wise so I bought 2, 5 kilo bags of ice. After putting everything away I decided I just had to use the 2nd bag. Glad I did. I had no idea how good it is.
The first Cheesecake has alot of red in it where the Dos si Dos is more blond. For reference, the two pieces of cheesecake are 15g and the two Dos Si are 11g. The small pieces are from the 20 mic bag and the larger from the 72. From what I see and read, some work the hash until shiny and smooth. Other than for aesthetics I don't see a need to overwork it. Maybe there is??
The last plant is on my desk for another day before it gets chopped tomorrow. Happy grows

It is good with an intense high. Its also very concentrated. I like it.
Part of why I made the 2nd batch was to see if I could improve on the yield. Both were consistent with not much waste. Nearly full melt. I see in the pic a green speck or 2 of leaf. It came after with the hair. I put a piece in my vape without the oil holder and it just ran out the breather.
I haven’t smoked hash in so long.
In fact it was the 90’s.

I've heard of hot knifing hash. Does it work good?
I just started another batch with the Watermelon Zkittlez auto.
It did for me, but kinda ruins the knives!
