I know this is of no use to the Brix Gang or probably most of you here. So I am recording this for posterity and personal reasons.
But by all means if you can get something out of it. You are welcome to it.

All I ask is you smoke with a brother if it's useful to you.
Food for thought,

Do not combine concentrated nutes in less water than is needed.

Two and three-part nutrients come in separate parts for a reason. If they come into contact with each other when still concentrated you will see a white precipitate form, and depending on the make up, this can happen very rapidly. The majority of the precipitate is typically calcium sulfate. Plants can only use nutrients that are fully dissolved in the water. So all that precipitate is nutes no longer available to the plant. Therefore, always add the majority of water before combining nutrients.
Subsequently, always stir well before each part is added.
.
Which comes first: A or B?

You should always add the part containing the phosphate first. Because the addition of each part can affect stability. Especially if your water has high alkalinity. Bicarbonate & Carbonate are the components of natural waters that causes high pH. Adding doses to high alkalinity water can decrease the stability of several nutrient components, Iron, Mag, Cal, Sulfate, Copper and Zinc. It is probably safer to add that part of the nutrient that lowers pH the most, first. Iron is highly unstable at ph above 6.5.

Add precise amounts of each part.

Avoid half ass measuring the nutes.
An excess of one nutrient component does not compensate for shorting another. In two-part, under dosing part B for example, could cause a deficiency in over half the nutrients required P, K, S and all of the trace elements excluding iron. This problem is compounded with two and three-parts because the dose volumes for each part will be roughly one-half to one-third (respectively) of what it would otherwise be if using a one-part.
Therefore, without accurate measuring, the dosing error can be significant.

Fully mix each part as added.
Always stir immediately after the addition of nutrient or supplements. This will dissolve the less soluble nutes.
Also, this removes pockets of extreme pH, up or down, that could destabilize nutes that are unstable beyond the pH window of 5.0-6.5.

Okey Dokey Smokey. I'm out.

Wow this one hit it......
First off Ive only had a few yard grows and just went inside in a tent so Im green as f**k. I just happen to have a knack at it like you Jake.
I think thats a big reason my yard grows so great this year....... Mixing all FF nutes CORRECTLY! Putting 2/3 of water in before the nutes. Mixing the shit out it, shaking the shit out the bottle. PHing the nute feed and I should PH the water feed but Im lazy. The say no need to PH your outdoor, I beg to differ. Ive got hard ass well water. Also, Watering good right before I feed is better too, thanks Will!!
Hermies..... Not sure why. I think genetics??? Ok Ive developed the bad habit of vegging under 24 hr and putting outside in Feb. harvest in May, let it reveg and harvest again in Oct. Sometimes I will take clones from the yard in July and put them back under 24 hr and do it all again off the same plant.! Talk about manipulation!!! I F**K with them bad and never a hermie. My first yard grow a few years back I purposely bred seeds and I must of did a good job, no hermies. Must be great genetics?? not sure but happy!!!
Namaste
From may till sept. Thank you Fox Farms!!!

Hallo all,

This fatty nugg of info was Originally posted in Angry Birds journal. Then dug up and reposted by another valuable member of this community, Canna Montanna.
I am re-reposting this as a source of info to refer to in the future. Feel free to read and share alike.

ENDO-CANNABINOID-ENHANCING FOODS

Essential fatty acids, chocolate, herbs, spices, and tea can naturally help the endo-cannabinoid system (ECS) function optimally, improve your health, and enhance the effectiveness of medicinal cannabis.

ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS:

A healthy ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids can enhance the activity of the endocannabinoid system. Endocannabinoids are produced from arachidonic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid. Having enough arachidonic acid is essential for endocannabinoid production, but having too much may lead to down regulation of cannabinoid receptors. Excessive omega-6 intake is also pro-inflammatory.
Most western diets already contain an excess of omega-6 oils, commonly found in cooking oils such as safflower, sunflower, corn, and soy, and in animal products like meat, poultry, and eggs.

Omega-3 fatty acids are needed to balance the omega-6 intake for the endocannabinoid system to function properly. These fatty acids are much harder to come by in the diet, and are also proven to have cardiovascular and neurological health benefits. An ideal ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 in the diet is 1:1, and the typical western diet often has a 1:10 ratio. Animal sources of omega-3 are the most potent, but the vegetarian sources tend to provide other excellent health benefits.

Sources of endocannabinoid-enhancing fatty acids:

Hemp seeds and hemp oil
Flax seeds (grind at home in a coffee grinder) and flax oil
Chia seeds
Walnuts
Sardines and anchovies
Eggs (pasture-fed or omega-3 enriched only)

CHOCOLATE

Cacao powder contains three compounds that are structurally very similar to endocannabinoids. These compounds can inhibit the breakdown of your body’s own endocannabinoids, resulting in higher endocannabinoid levels, and may have some cannabinoid activity of their own. The content of cannabinoid-like compounds in chocolate varies widely and is highest in dark chocolate and raw cacao. Other compounds in chocolate may be able to help prevent heart disease, stroke, and dementia. Look for at least 70% dark chocolate, or try adding raw cacao nibs to smoothies or cereal!
HERBS AND TEA

Numerous herbs and teas contain compounds that can enhance the endocannabinoid system. Beta-caryophyllene is a terpene found in black pepper, oregano, cinnamon, clove, cannabis, and many other herbs.
It selectively stimulates the CB2 receptor, a sought-after property in the development of treatments for inflammatory disorders. Echinacea, often used by herbalists for up to 2 weeks to stimulate the immune system during infections, also contains CB2 agonists. Camelia sinensis, commonly known as “tea,” contains a compound that prevents the breakdown of endocannabinoids, and another compound that stimulates the CB1 receptor. Turmeric, the yellow spice in curry powder, contains curcumin, which also raises endocannabinoid levels amongst numerous other health benefits.

EAT ORGANIC AND AVOID PLASTIC

Certain pesticides (e.g. chlorpyrifos and piperonyl butoxide) are known to disrupt the endocannabinoid system. It’s especially important to choose organic foods when shopping for meat, dairy, and the highest pesticide-containing produce (see EWG foodnews/). Phthalates, frequently added to plastic and tin food containers and water bottles, are known to block cannabinoid receptors and disrupt the body’s hormonal system. Choose glass or stainless steel food containers and packaging whenever possible, and never eat food that’s been heated in plastic.
FOODS TO AVOID

Processed grains- e.g white breads • Chronic alcohol consumption
Refined sugar
Trans fats
Foods fried in vegetable oil such as peanut, corn and soy oil • Pesticides (eat organic)

ACTIVITIES

ENDO-CANNABINOID-ENHANCING ACTIVITIES

Certain activities can naturally enhance the endo-cannabinoid system’s function, improve your health, increase the effectiveness of medicinal cannabis, and feel great.
STRESS-REDUCING ACTIVITIES

While chronic stress can deplete your endo-cannabinoid system, a highly tuned endo-cannabinoid system can protect you from the detrimental effects of stress. Incorporating the following activities into your day will keep your ECS well-tuned, but only if you enjoy them! Animal studies teach us that if you force yourself to exercise, your ECS will interpret the activity as stress, but freely choosing and enjoying the same activity will increase endo-cannabinoid levels.

Healer offers a number of fun, easy-to-learn mind and body exercises that Dr. Sulak has designed to specifically augment the endo-cannabinoid system and synergize with the cannabis state of consciousness. In addition to joining in with Dr. Sulak, we encourage you to explore any of the following health-promoting activities:

Social interaction
rats in social isolation produced less cannabinoid receptors, while social play and
grooming behavior increased function of the ECS.
Meditation
Yoga
Massage
Osteopathic Manipulation (OMT) • Acupuncture
Breathing exercises
Voluntary and enjoyable exercise

Told ya this was good stuff.

I had to show off my yard grow, hope you dont mind.
Man I don't mind at all. Share away brutha. If I had a beautiful yard grow like that this year I'd take every opportunity to show it too.

I have a flower room that is 77 Fahrenheit day. Humidity is 55% day.

65 degrees night. 45% humidity. Night.

Veg room stays at 80 degrees 55 to 60 % humidity. 20 hours a day.
Lights out drops to 70 degrees and 50 % humidity.

Hi Jacob :) looking awesome!! :circle-of-love:
Thank you Birdie. Hope you are well. Sorry I ain't been by. Ab (abnormal) world life has been gettin in the way.

My ladies parent popped up today with some very fine stuff we grew outside last year. I almost lost her sooo many times it's rediculous.
But here's a shot or two. One with flash that made the bud way more green than it is. This is a sativa started inside beggining of feb. Outside in Maine loam and the dirt I dig out to put it in. Got a frost and burned pretty bad first week of April.

Lemme tell ya though this is by far the strongest I have ever had the pleasure of smoking.
Lemony Cheezy n dank as hell. Harvested first week of October and too early. But it was sleeting and raining with a hard frost coming that night.

Okay enjoy ladies n gents n all others.
