If I put my auto under 12/12 at 17 days will I screw it up or just get a smaller yield ?

Next spring will be my first foray into auto's...but from what I've read...your yield will suffer if you switch auto's to 12/12 quickly...price to pay for a time/space issue I suppose...U got enuff goin' on...should be minimal effect...cheerz...h00k...

You sure got that right Hook. I got a lot goin on. But if you would of told me four months ago I would be able to do this I wouldn't have believed you.
This is my first one. But, due to me leaving for a few days I will not be able to move from veg to flower n back for the 18-6 she has been getting. So tonight will be the flip. I wanted to top and LST but now I think maybe I should just leave well enough alone.

When you say reveg are you harvesting the plant and reveging???
Ive only taken clones 4-5 times and get a 75% success rate. I was just told not to take them so long, down to the third node. Also was told not to have too many leaves on it. Just a few on the very top. Also the leafs that are there you nip the tip of the leafs, cut the tip off.
I see where you take them from HPS to CFL and back and forth? I need to do something because my Sept. bill is $350.00!!! I might not run in Aug-Sept. Or use my T11's for veg. Aug's bill was $120.00

Mornin Dutch,
I start the Pearls from seed straight to flower because I have so many seeds. They grow fast and give up about half a zip. Tastys we call em here at home. We cull the males and juice em. So it's been a steady supplier.
I just started 8 more and I plan to veg these out for a week or two. Break up the cycle a bit and flower em all at the same time. Maybe get enough of a harvest that I can cure some and see how much more potential I squeeze out of them. Before I was planting one or two a week. Like I said they are fast and easy and now that we are talking about it I am starting to think I should hold some back for future Outdoors. Maybe next year.
Now about the revegs. I take clones all the way into week five of flower. Then Reveg them. Super cropping its called. Really dense and tightly spaced nodes. I haven't had one go all the way yet so I don't have photos yet. Looks like I will pull off my first full term harvest somewhere round Halloween. Times have been hard and I like to eatsmokedabvaperippartywaytoomuchdude to go without long. But my plants are finally catching up.
Recently I have been taking clones during veg and I notice that once they root they take off like rockets. They seem to root faster when I take em in flower though. But man its a long turn around to get em vegging properly and get substantial growth. But once they do look out it's full steam ahead.

Oh yeah one more thing. I have around two hundred watts in my veg room. 18-6 Combo of leds and cfls. The hps is on 12-12. I was taking them out of veg room and puttin em under hps so that they would get more light during the day and every evening I would go out and move it all around. Tiresome to say the least. So now I have everything sorted and I could possibly leave for a week or maaaybe a lil more with some preparations. Power outage could do me in. But If I lost power at all when I came back on everything fires up on it's own. All lights, AC's, fans ect.. are automatic.
My power bill was the highest ever this past August. Jis under 300. I got plans to really cut it back for the winter with some weedgineering and smokey brainstorm sessions as of recent.
Nice that you got harvest coming up. That helps.
Auto's can flower under 18/6, can you just leave them in the veg tent?

Yeah I could but I really wanna just stop moving it everyday. Plus veg is significantly less wattage. I may suffer in yield but I do have almost too much goin on. I was head first for the last few months and I need to settle into a routine. Find a balance
Balance is key. Too much going on can be overwhelming and then everything suffers. Ya know?

Things are well my friend. I hop over to your journal a couple times a day so I stay up to date n stuff. The Brix thing ya'll are gettin on to has me so hyped up to try it. So I just watch n learn mostly.

The autos won't care about the light. They'll just bloom and work towards full maturity. You're right about the reduced wattage offering reduced yield, but every grow teaches you something. You'll get a harvest out of them nonetheless.

Hi Sue.
Pleasure to have you here again. Yeah this is my first auto and too bad I couldn't play round a lil more. I know I will see a harvest. I also know I will see another auto bean. lol
My veg area isn't big enough to do all I am asking of it. So I am happy with the reduced wattage in there for the time being. Or I would be over run with all of the vegetation.
There isn't a minute of the day- much less a grow -I don't learn. It's the forgetting part I may be too good at.

I needed that. I just received some fresh harvested from my Ladys brother, yesterday. Outdoor stuff. His first grow. Okay stuff. Could went a little longer imo. Great berry terp profile with some lemony taste n a lil caramel as well. He says it was a strain called Jillie Bean. Hard to tell around here when you buy clones for an outdoor grow what you are actually gettin. Next year all that changes for my circle because of this.
Ne how give this a Jillie bean a pull. A little racy but good thinkin weed after a couple minutes. Geez knows I need some of that.
So excited to be growing an auto even though it won't get the chance to be all it could be..

So did I! Lol! I ended up getting them for 44 hrs in 4 days. Then they axed me and many others that hired in for a 2 week outage. Suck-pump Billy took all of our work so we got laid off, and he got another weekend of ot/dt before he leaves for Mexico. But I'm not bitter or anything. Lol
