Hey to each their own man. If they work for you, they work for you. But I don't see how your temps are that high. It was 94* outside. And I have a. 8000 BTU ac in my 8x4 tent and it had it down to 74* with a 1000 watt and a 400 watt in there. With only one 360 cfm exhausting the lights

My AC isn't in the tent, but in the room, the room itself is really cold.

84? I have a 6" 240 cfm fan exhausting air from the top of the tent, and the same fan and model on the bottom of the tent bringing in fresh air, with no ducting set up yet. My new tent will be here tomorrow morning, but LEDs won't be until sometime probably next week.

Ordered my two 600 watt LED lights, they should be here around wed of next week, 4x4 foot tent tomorrow, and placed a new seed order, although I will want to clone a few of these, I'll probably just start a few from seed when those come in, but I did it now for a promo with some seeds that I really want to try... so here's the seed shopping list:

If you have no ductin that's probably why your temps are getting out of hand. Tents are hard to cool with ambient room temps. You need to find a way to duct that cold air from your ac into your tent. And that'll help with temps significantly and would be much cheaper than a new light. But hey like I said to each their own. It's your garden do as you please. Best of luck with the leds

The light in the bigger tent is at such better temps, with passive intake and a 6" exhausting the hot air. The 50" x 50" tent seems so much bigger it's crazy. I'm trying to decide between throwing some canmax fans in, or the cheaper hydrofarm 6" fans. I bumped into my downstairs neighbor, turns out he is a caregiver as well and we shared some insight, he has the can max fans and they are almost silent it is amazing, compared to my cheap Ventech intake booster fans. I am fairly certain I will still be using my HPS in some way soon.

I'm not even sure the brand of my can fans but they're both 6" one I have actually mounted to a hood. To move air through the lights. The other is hooked up to the carbon filter which I'm going to have to start using shortly and will probably have to let it vent my tent a few times a day. But hps is the way to go in my eyes

update in a few minutes, my White Rhino looks terrible, been just cutting off the sick looking leaves, going to flush it and then prob throw it into flowering with the other 4 larger plants and see what I can get off of it, the Great White Shark was a mutant and slow grower, too... but now it is doing much better in larger pots. two Kosher Kush and a Lemon Skunk failed to sprout.

Looks like maybe some heat stress or overwatering in a few spots where the leaves are curling and or wilting/sagging a tiny bit, if anybody has some tips I'd appreciate it

Well I have two 6" 400 cfm Hydrofarm fans coming in, estimated delivery is next Tuesday unfortunately, but on the bright side my seeds will most likely be here Friday, and my two fan speed controllers, a second timed surge protector, and my two LED lights will be here Friday... working a 12 hour shift so I won't get to play with the new toys until I get back.

I will most likely cut some clones next Friday, the 4th of July, and throw Super Lemon Haze and both Jack Herer plants into flower the following day. I want to do one very large phantom cookies, so I am trying to decide between throwing this one into flower after taking 2-4 cuttings and just getting myself some medicine ASAP, letting the clones grow and eventually running one of those clones in a 20-50 gallon pot at another time, or my other option is to just take the cuttings, and continue to veg the Phantom Cookies that I have now until it is a monster.

Got my bale of Pro-Mix and 30 labs of worm castings, as soon as Doc gets back from vacation I will be ordering his kit, cooking the soil for about 21-28 days in the summer heat and going high brix by August. I will grow two of my Sour Tangle and one of my Purple KosherxStrawberry Banana in my normal soil routine while the soil is cooking, and then most likely the other 4 Sour Tangle and the other two PK x SB in high brix so I can compare the differences and show how great hi brix is.

Side note... I have not been able to definitively sex either Jack Herer, or the Phantom Cookies itself, so the whole monster phantom could just be a wash if it is a male... but it will be bred for sure

Both Jack Herer, Phantom Cookies and Super Lemon Haze have all been cloned, took 2 cuttings off each, and they are now in their first day of 12/12... Super Skunk, Great White, White Rhino, Trainwreck and Kosher Kush are all still in veg in the 3x3 tent under 600 watt LED, while the 4x4 room is flowering under the 600 watt HPS. I need to change the name of this thread!
