I'm flattered but I'm no farmer, trust me. I've just spent A LOT of time reading posts written by people that know way more than I ever will. I'm simply good at borrowing ideas and then using good old fashioned common sense.

I owe EVERYTHING I know to forums just like this one and to the folks who contribute to them.

I just thought of something....... by the time we harvest the outdoor stuff the next round without the screen will be growing and will be harvested in early November. You know I'll have to add some pictures here. Is there such thing as a perpetual grow diary? HAHA.

I had no idea that this journal would grow to this size. After I harvest the November crop I'll take a break from journaling for a while as I may be making a move. However I'll still contribute reagularly here. I've sort of 'found a home' with this site. Of all of the sites that I've been on(and I've been on and even journaled on most of them), I've felt the most welcomed on this one and for that reason I will only journal on this site going forward. It's too much work to run journals on 3 or 4 different sites.

....but November is still 4 months away so please stay with me! :)

Oh yeah, a lot of people have done perpetual journals - IRIE has one going now

Love those outdoor plants. They have come along way. They look so green and healthy. What do you feed them? And how often?

although this site is a bit smaller than others, i agree that its one of the friendliest.

I would take 5 pieces of friendly advice and good will over 50 sour pusses any day. I also feel like this is my home now, so ill stick around buddy.

80 days ago scrawny starts were stuck in pipe
and then took their first shower for their ride
in syncopated luxury they now carpet your canopy
to justify your industry and pride

Big Mike is also proud shouting good results out loud
you used his finest stuff real faithfully
soon your buds will proove your home design is truly good
friend now I know on what I can rely

Well, i think you'll have no trouble should hitting that 25 ounce harvest mark. If you had to build another system from scratch, would you do anything different, aka bigger pipe?

I sure hope you're right Charlie.

Good question...

1. For scrogging 6 inch would work better so I'd pobably use 6 inch pipe if I did it all over again.

2. I'd utilize more of my res space. My pipes cut into the side of my res and I can only fill it to 15 gallons. If I did it again I'd utilize all of my res space to help better stabilize ph,ppm, etc.

Overall I'm happy with the system on it's initial run though.

How come i never see people using a remote res to increase capacity?

I haven't seen any pics of that bud canopy with the lights on in a while. *hint*hint

i am going to have a top off tank with pure RO water, and buy a $60 top off system for aquariums.

Everything is still going well. The indoor is just past 6 weeks. I'll have another outdoor update coming very soon.
