420 Magazine's Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow By Beez0404

As long as you have the headroom, let'em ride!
They are 51 days old today and haven't reached 12" tall I don't think headroom will be an issue.

Update for the Girl Scout Cookies for Day 52

The Mars Hydro FC-4800 is working like a charm. Unbelievably cool to the touch (the light portion inside the tent) with it now set up to 60% power. I love this light. The driver outside the tent is warm but I could hold it in my hand if I wanted to do so.

I am also gaining more confidence that Matthew from @Prescription Blend has come up with the solution to the problem. The leaves are darkening up and I am not seeing anymore spotting on the leaves other then what was there already.

@beez0404 Great to hear (and see) that they are doing so much better with a little higher strength feed.. we'll see in the next few days. Are you going to wait to flip for a certain number of new nodes or just when you see it start to grow vigorously?

I will flip them when I am 100% confident that they have turned the corner. No more Ca deficiency which it would appear was caused by me adding more Core B and not adding more Core A. But yeah I would like to see them start to take off and grow with more vigor.

Going to flip them when they're all looking nice and healthy. I've never had a light like this one, to be honest it scares me a little. I'm almost afraid to turn it all the way up. I think it's at 60% of full power right now.

I have the FC-E 6500 from @Mars Hydro and I love it. I too do not have mine up all the way I'd bet maybe 85% and pinned to the ceiling.

My plants are maybe a foot off the floor. I noticed a lot more growth once they were under the new lamp.

Like you runs very cool. I didn't even need ventilation to keep the room cool and I've got the power supply attached to the frame.

You plants look good from here...

Good, the camera is fooled by the light. They are darker then they appear.

The one in the back right was initially the fastest grower and biggest and also the first to show signs of calcium deficiency. I'm seeing a spot or two on the upper leaves. The bottom leaves will always be spotted. I am wondering Matthew @Prescription Blend if you recommend upping or reducing anything to address a cal-mag deficiency? I mean short of adding cal-mag is what I'm asking.

Yeah I think you're right. I took pics of mine today and adjusted the camera white balance to be a little more cool.

I set my camera tonight to 4400K. Brings out the red in the lamp instead of the yellow. Thats a little extreme tho - 3600k seems to be a good spot. I'm trying different settings to see whats the best. There's a fair amount of red in these lamps.

The girls seem to like it a lot.

Try some Gypsum?? Skip the Mg is my thought. Unless you're growing soil-less??
