420 Magazine's Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow By Beez0404

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Update for today 5/30/21 for the Girl Scout Cookies plants from @Weed Seeds Express

The plants are exactly 49 days or 7 weeks old today. It's time to move on to the next phase and flip these to flowering starting tomorrow. I will continue to follow exactly the feeding schedule for the Prescription Blend nutrients. Here they are on their last day of vegging.

I sent a PM to Prescription Blend asking for suggestions. But at this point I'll be feeding them just what is called for on their feeding chart.

@beez0404 got your DM but I hope its ok to just reply here and make all the info available to the readers in case it could help someone else as well.

Looking through your info here I have given this a lot of consideration and my overall recommendation is if they are a lighter green then you want, you should continue to add a little extra calmg but keep the Core A/B levels equal. You can increase the overall nutrient strength but with even amounts of A/B.

Increasing the amount of Core B puts in more N but it also raises the level of K in your solution which can adversely impact the Ca and Mg absorption leading to needing to add calmg to maintain balance. The way the nutrient system is setup is to be adjusted with calmg addition if needed but to keep Core A/B equal.

Just a little info: This last couple batches I have increased A and B 10% (11ml per gal) this gets me closer to 1000 ppm total. 10 ml of each is closer to 920 ppms. I also provide regularly Cal-Mag at the 3 ml per gal minimum mainly because I am using Coco. Mine are really a nice green so it's working.

@Brett Blaze your plants are certainly lush, I hope my comment above wasn't interpreted to say you can't make this adjustment. I intended to highlight how this would change the nutrient solution and what to look for afterwards (as in keeping an eye out for needing calmg in addition if your upping Core B).

Not at all. Just giving a little tip and agreeing with you to bump up A and B together if you need to increase.

So @Prescription Blend are you saying that if I bump up Core A and Core B to 12ml and leave everything else at 5ml the plants will not need Cal-Mag and will darken in color? My plants will be flipped to 12/12 lighting starting tomorrow the 1st of June. When do I start to add the Big Data the first time I feed them after the flip?

cool beez, I flipped tonight also, day 49, ( already in dark just 15 mins ago for 14 hours. )

Cheers, HERES TO FLOWERS!

Good luck to ya, @Mayne I hope you have a healthy and bountiful grow.

@beez0404 I’d recommend increasing both Core A and B up to 12ml/Gal which will raise your EC to ~2.3-2.4. If you start to see burn then drop it back obviously but depending on your genetics some like it strong... You can add as much Kelp-Ful as you like but follow the chart for the others. Big “Data” starts getting used as soon as you flip.

If you only want to increase the N, Ca and Mg then add some calmg instead of what I said above.

I'm wanting to use just your nutrients and no supplements to see what Rx Blends can do. So I'll up both the Core A and the Core B to 12ml/gallon and see where that gets the girls.

Change is Plans AGAIN! I am wanting to get these plants headed in the right direction before I flip them. So the veg continues. Day 51 post sprout. Fed today with 12ml / gallon of Core A and Core B with 5ml of everything else. The pH at watering was 6.45 I believe give or take a point.
