420 Magazine's Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow By Beez0404

Girl Scout Cookies Update. Day 32 post sprout. The girls are looking pretty healthy. I am not used to running plants this shade of green. Using my regular nutrients they are a much darker color of green. They were just fed so they aren't short of nutrients, but perhaps the PB doesn't have enough nitrogen to please this strain? I'll give them a week under this new light and see how they look.

I'll be watching. Also using PB and noticed a lighter green.

I wanted to thank you for posting so many learnings on this forum. I successfully reversed an auto for pollen this year and all I did was copy the steps in your tutorial.
@jonoldstyle Thank you very much for your kind words, that is really flattering. It is nice to know the time typing up the tutorial was well spent as at least one person was able to use the information and have success.

I bookmarked your seedmaking, clone taking, and hempy transplanting tutorials and link to them all the time. It's definitely worth your time spent.

I even collected the key seedmaking posts in one place here for easy linking!
See that's why you're a three time Member of the Year for setting things like that up for everyone. I'd vote for you right now for the 4th crown!!

I am mixing at Veg week 1. With total ppm at 500.
Bring it up a bit higher if they look like they are ready for it. You can make it at full strength and then add more water to bring your ppm/EC down to whatever level you want it at.

Girl Scout Cookies Update Day 39 post sprout

I hope everyone is having great success with their Girl Scout Cookies plants and that ya'll are having an excellent week.
As this grow progresses I keep asking myself are the plants not performing as well as my plants normally do because I am using different nutrients or does it have to do with genetics. The girls from the start have been quite a light green color. Do they need more nitrogen or is it the genetics? One plant has a bottom leaf nearly burned up completely, is this nutrients? The largest girl has two pitiful looking leaves at the bottom of the plant looking rough/limpish and one up higher with spots that are not from pests. All four of the girls had put out their fifth node and I waited until they were all well enough established that I could safely top them all.

Today was feeding day and I've decided to be more proactive with the nutrients. I didn't go crazy, I bumped up the @Prescription Blend Core B from 10ml to 11ml as the Core B contains the most nitrogen. I also bumped up the Kelp-Ful from 5ml to 6ml to increase the amount of Fulvic Acid fed to the plant which I am hoping will in turn improve nutrient uptake and help with rapid growth and cell division. I will be looking for a deeper color of green and for the plants to start looking "Happy" and standing up strong. They just don't look happy overall.

Here are a few photos taken today after watering/feeding. I was using a lens to negate the light so the plants look darker in color then they truly are.

A nice family shot from today.

This is one of two leaves at the bottom of the biggest girl that is just limp and sad looking.

This is the leaf I mentioned that has the appearance of pest damage but trust me I looked all four of these plants over from head to toe and saw no pests.

You can see the badly burnt leaf on this plant. There was another that I have already removed. I'm real careful feeding/watering but I guess it's a possibility she had some splash on her at some point, but there were two of them

All in all the plants are really trying and I'm hoping in a few days their color will improve and their posture will straighten up to the point they are looking happy.

By the looks beez they might be getting a little too wet in their home. Have you allowed for dry periods after each feeding? All in all tho my friend even if they take some time to mature into fine ladies again they will still give you the meds at the end result. I hope things ease up beez I'm not the greatest gardener in my own eyes so if I can help anywhere just let me know. Cheers on a great turn around/recovery!!!

I’m 10 days behind in my plants age. I noticed the lighter green too but I thought it could be that I was over doing it with nitrogen on my previous grow or maybe genetics. I noticed that when I did water them last week that the leaves really drooped - scared me as I thought I’ve done them in! The bounced back after a few hours. Only one of my plants has had her 14 day GeoFlora feed last night. The others will get their’s tomorrow. So far they look good - no spots. I do have one bottom leaf that yellowed early on. The rest have been fine. I’m only watering 1 gallon pots about every 5-6 days.

I'm thinking it won't hurt to let them dry out and when they do slide one of them out of their pot to see what the roots look like. Who knows they might be tight in the pots already.
