420 Magazine's Official Girl Scout Cookies Comparative Grow By Beez0404

I've also thought about taking the tall girl and keeping her in the little seedling box for another week and leaving the other three girls under the QB light.

So I am thinking of waiting till the three smaller plants have put out their 5th node and topping them above the 4th node. Then waiting a week and top the taller girl in the same spot. Think that will help even them up in height more?
That will work as long as the smaller ones decide to match the growth rate of the taller one as they go. Otherwise the taller one will just get taller again after topping, no?

I would expect that it is going to be more vigorous then the other three the entire grow but that's just my gut instinct. But I would like to try to keep their heights similar. Maybe I cull the three small ones and just concentrate on the better growing plant?

My plan has been to up-pot the four into 3 gallon pots and a week after their second topping move them into the 3x3 tent with the @Mars Hydro FC-4800 waiting for them and go to 12/12 lighting.

@beez0404 looks like that little plant had a shock with getting fed week5 strength as a seedling but it seems strong and I think it will make a full recovery. I do have to agree that sometimes an unplanned experiment (aka troubleshooting) can show you things that are valuable to know.

You two are banned from my journal! :cheesygrinsmiley:

Sry @beez0404

Maybe I should have used a term like “unexpected event”, according to Wikipedia “An experiment is a procedure carried out to..... “

So technically, an experiment should be intentional undertaken and not accidental. If you have an observation and try to recreate the conditions with the same result, then your doing an experiment.

Edit: still interested to see how that little one recovers...

We're experiencing difficulties with your banning powers, you might need to tough it out until we get it resolved :hmmmm:
Would you be inadvertently experimenting on resolving this issue or will it be an unplanned experiment to give me banning powers. And if I get them how high will they work?

And that wise arse @BakedARea is now added to the list should my journal banning powers ever be granted.

They are looking good @Kismet and should really take off in those 5 gallon buckets.

Girl Scout Cookies Update. Day 32 post sprout. The girls are looking pretty healthy. I am not used to running plants this shade of green. Using my regular nutrients they are a much darker color of green. They were just fed so they aren't short of nutrients, but perhaps the PB doesn't have enough nitrogen to please this strain? I'll give them a week under this new light and see how they look.
