Just noticed in the pic of mama WW her ppm shows 883 ppm , she was 1001 ppm . She takes in as much nutrients as water?
last water and nutrients change she took in right 500 ppm maybe more throughout the week!

Went back to 5.8 , changed it before I took pics . You caught it to , it had gotten greener that was noticeable.
I calibrated both ph testers , one was right on and the blue lab was off by a tenth .
Ya the new growth was obvious right dead center as was the surrounding leaves. So it's got a very small window to work in by the sounds of it.
I'd say MrS nailed it (again)!

I have the added attractions , the frozen one is finally branches stiffening up . They were staying limp . 2 day total of tds used 70 ppm , taken in 1-1/4 gallons of ro water.
Mama WW just does her thing , gallon and 3/4 of ro water. The tds she took in 278 ppm in 48 hours! Her ph was back at 6.1 this morning phed her to 5.3 again after letting her sit a day of 6.1 . No net yet !
The test with the ro water phed down to to 5.4 and 24 hours later 6.2 , air was the only thing in the 4 gallons of ro water!

Been trying to tell you that the whole time. The exchange of cO2 to O2 causes the ph to rise as the equation balances. I did a post about it in my journal some time back.

@InTheShed had told me about it and was why I took the air out of the 20 gallon reservoir . It helped satisfy the ph but things started growing that weren’t supposed to !
The MC in the 20 gallon reservoir after a couple days it stabilized and can put it where I want it . The dwc on the other hand is a different story . You can work with 4 gallons only and when she feeds ( up to a gallon a day of ro water) that leaves three gallons plus the concentrated nutrients (if she didn’t do an up take of the nutrients)

Mama WW the beastie one is a B getting the lid off , the root ball won’t hardly let me push it to the side to get a water sample. Started with 1001 ppm four days later the ppm is 369 . That’s 632 ppm of solids used (nutrients) .
Frozen one is taking it’s time she has gone from 995 ppm to 834 ppm. Keeping the ph from 5.5 to 5.9 max . Wait the second day I left both alone at 6.1 and have kept them down since .
