i have a tote full of red wiggler(composting worms) and make worm castings,dont add them to my soils as i fear they might die if the soil becomes hostile due to buildup, but i paid a few bucks for 100 worms now i have thousands,and will need to start new bins they eat most of our kitchen waste, they have favorite foods, bannas make them all come to the surface to get a bite, and soggy lettuce seems a favorite too, they are my kind of pet, they give back and eat my garbage with zeal!
