What i was talking about is, that while they dry, they suck in those extra nutes or whatever.. of course while they cure, they wont have stems. leaving the stems while they dry still allows them to suck up whats left in the plant.. and IMO, allows it another week for the trichs to develop..



yah i couldn't flush her but her last watering was 3 days ago with water only so she wont be too bad.. last time i gave her nutes was a week ago too..

A lot of people get only a weeks flush, so should be fine

man, I never bought one seed lol... well 5 years ago i did, came in a screw driver I recall. I just was given 4 clones from a friend a year ago.. see Purple haze was thought to be extinct and wouldn't you know it... threw a friend of a friend I was able to find a grower that had been growing it for well over 10 years and that makes since with the timeline.. somehow it just disappeared and I believe that me and him are the only ones with the strain left... I should hermie one for some seeds one day and give yall some... it is just the easiest and strongest and most resilient (handles 90degree heat fine, I was young and stupid once lol) strain i have ever grown..

PS, i have hallucinated with this strain, I guess thats why it got its name.. I have never smoked better than this strain and everyone that has smoke agrees.. I got lucky

yah it doesn't, he he.. but im gonna see if they fill out more. I think they will just continue to fill out.. Im not in any hurry so I would like for these to mature as much as possible.. I'm going to post a pic of the biggest bud at 8,9,10, and 11 weeks... I wanna be able to compare..

All strains are different and I know this one is ofcourse fine at 8 weeks, but I think i can get a much bigger yield if i flower longer cause this strain might take longer...

Anyways, it cant hurt to flower longer right?

Hey C5R, I have been skimming through your journals and they look really good. Im impressed! My plan is to get the SH bubble kit and grow in my closet via a 1000wt HPS hortilux...When you say insane do you mean huge plants/buds? lol Any recommendations for that setup? Thanks and keep up the good work!:smokin:

yes, by insane I mean huge, huge football size nugs... lol.. thx man

I gotta say that a 1000w light in a closet is the easiest ways to cook your plant..

first think with closet grows... Have a BIG (~400 CFM) exhaust fan.. a 400w light un-vented and without a room exhaust fan, can easily exceed 100 degrees... In closet temps have to be no higher than 87 IMO, but 90 really..

you have got to get a cool tube, ducting and 400cfm fan. I would run either a 400w HPS or 600w HPS... MH lights get a lot hotter than HPS so avoid them... just exhaust that room, vent that light, and watch that temp very carefully... you may even consider CFL's. thats what i use in my hydro closet..(13) 65w 2700k CFLs. they generate almost no heat and my temps were still getting hot.. I ran an exhaust fan and the room is fine..

Hey thanks for the quick response!

Im actually using the 1000wt currently in my closet soil grow (The one in my signature). Luckily I have been able too keeps the temp in the mid-eighties, even with just a small fan intake and 165cfm inline 4 fan exhausting the light. I would prefer a 600wt but im stuck with this light. Im looking forward to harvesting my soil grow and starting my first hydro grow by use of the SH bubble kit.
 
yeah you have to watch trics if you let it go to long it starts to degrade, so adding more time just to see if they get larger can be lower the quality of said plant, there is a 7 day window to harvest at its peak you want to aim for that, big buds are no good if they dont get you high, everything looks great good luck sir

I hear ya. I'll be checking out your grow.. I cant believe you can keep it cool. lol. And yah, your gonna love the SH kit and becoming a Deep Water Culture
