400w HPS, 3 Topped Plants

I don't know where I've been man that I didn't know you got hurt. WTF, You fell of a roof? I'm hearing vicodine, did ya brake something serious? I must have been smoking
too much lately to have let that one get by me! Hope you are feeling better. Anything internal?

its alright man.. yah i feel off a roof.. there was some ice i didn't see and i went right off onto a brick patio.. it wasn't fun lol. i've .been recovering at home for 2 weeks tomorrow. Im just glad i can still take care of my plants. I fractured 5 bones and lower spine section is bulging, but everything is getting better.
 
here is some pics of that plant.. first pic you can see just how many stems and shit I had to cut.. the plant grew like a hydro plant.. but got to bushy and was "choking" itself.
so I lollipopped her..

here is the 20 or so tops.. bad pic.. im gonna flower this girl for 2-3 months... let her really fill out.. and she will have that 1000w hps to her self for a good month.

It looks gruesome after putting the knife to them, but your buds will really enjoy the extra air from underneath.
 
well guys, the one that has been flowering for 7 weeks just lost all support and no matter what i tried, i couldnt support her... so she got chopped.. I think she'll do 1.5 OZ.. she could of done 3oz.. Im pissed, it was my fault... let her get too tall... she was 4.5ft tall and just didn't have the stalk to hold all her wait... next time im gonna be using 5 gal buckets instead of 3 gal pots... that way they will be support the kinda weight that plant had...

anyways the other plants are doing fine... i got them all steaked and supported

yah, i got 8 next time and i know exactly what to do... they are all gonna be in 5gal pots... no taller than 4 ft.. and i dont think i"ll top this time...8 plants dont need topping with only one 1kw light... and they will have much better support I'll start the next batch in 1.5-2 months.. i figure.
 
they do indeed... i guess not bad for some premature buds... that one nug to the far left would of filled out so nicely... damn

oh well, with the trichrome count they should be fine... anyway i cut em so they had long stems... I have noticed that if you leave long stems on the nugs that they actually continue to bud up for a lil and will mature threw curing... I have done this twice with 2 previous premature plants and they did fine so it should be fine.. I should have a smoke report by the time i pick the rest of the plants

By all means let us know what the smoke is like. Buzzwise and taste. I imagine they would cure slower with the added moisture of the stems to absorb. Good idea.

hell yah i well...in this same thread too...
What i was talking about is, that while they dry, they suck in those extra nutes or whatever.. of course while they cure, they wont have stems. leaving the stems while they dry still allows them to suck up whats left in the plant.. and IMO, allows it another week for the trichs to develop..

yah i couldn't flush her but her last watering was 3 days ago with water only so she wont be too bad.. last time i gave her nutes was a week ago too..
