yeah you have to watch trics if you let it go to long it starts to degrade, so adding more time just to see if they get larger can be lower the quality of said plant, there is a 7 day window to harvest at its peak you want to aim for that, big buds are no good if they dont get you high, everything looks great good luck sir

yeah thats what I'll do ofcourse.. the last time i harvested, it was at 8 weeks and they were 30% amber.. so maybe it'll take 10 weeks.. I'll be watching them trichs

yah it doesn't, he he.. but im gonna see if they fill out more. I think they will just continue to fill out.. Im not in any hurry so I would like for these to mature as much as possible.. I'm going to post a pic of the biggest bud at 8,9,10, and 11 weeks... I wanna be able to compare..

All strains are different and I know this one is ofcourse fine at 8 weeks, but I think i can get a much bigger yield if i flower longer cause this strain might take longer...

Anyways, it cant hurt to flower longer right?

THe plant is going to mature when the plant is going to mature. Could very well be that they will get to max bud by letting them go as far as possible but it's still all about the trichs.

I did for my tomatoes last year and it was the best crop ever and I've grown for 30+ years. I have 47 quart jars in my freezer as testiment out of a 10'x10' plot! I usually get about 30 quart! No one and I mean no one in my area had tomatoes in August last year but I did! Let's just say you learn things on here that are transferable.

flora nova is what I use in the soil.. I have read that you can use the flora series but I wouldn't. Flora Nova is an all-in-one so it can be balanced and it does great for my soil plants.. I am constantly playing around with how much strength to give.. They actually use the same chart for soil and water but I am using twice the strength with no burn.. thats 30ml a gal. I am also adding 15ml a gal of cal-mag+ everytime now as of last week so I hope I dont burn em, but they still look fine.

lol, that is awesome man. I am constantly helping my dad with his tomato plants, or I do while they are growing, and he sometimes looks at me weird and says, how do you know all that. I say dad, I wanna have botanist on my resume one day too. He laughs and says yah right. I have stopped giving him advice really lol..

with this fox farm organic soil the guy at the hydro store said not 2 add grow nutes for the first 3 weeks only water its has worm castings and bat guano and other stuff. guess ill start the boom at like 5 ml a gallon and go up from there thanks again guys !!!!!

there not showing any deficiantcies so i think there good on the grow nutes
but when i flipem ill start given em some nova bloom like 5 ml a gallon.

group pic..8 weeks flowering but they are growing very fast now with the addition of the the 1000w and doubling the nutes.. I feel they are playing "catch up" because of my 400w light going bad.. it had bad light for 2 weeks and just stopped growing it seemed. and I effectively removed all small nugs and got em concentrated. I suspect the next 3 weeks will be vary interesting, trichs are starting to get cloudy on the purple haze clone.


You can really see the difference between the two strains here.. Purple haze on right. bagseed on left.

I am going by trichs and I'm not even close.. Yes it is taking a while longer than normal but Im happy they filling out more.. I can notice daily growth now.. the bagseed does seem a week ahead of the purple haze
