300W LED 2x4x5 Tent Soil Grow

Yea i will definitely be getting humidipaks.. good to know im not overthinking it. Im just worried about trimming my buds, i really have no idea where to start with that. The other parts i feel comfortable with but ill need to maybe watch someone else trim a bud or two before i get into it. Im mostly a visual learner so vids and stuff help me the most. Ive heard dispensary bud sucks for the price you pay, you gotta be a real moron to buy dispensary bud and not try growing your own. Ive nevet had dispensary buds so i cant say for sure but thats how everyone makes it seem.
 
Watch a couple videos of trimming.. Get you a good pair of CURVED pruners and nitrile gloves, YOU NEED GLOVES, trust me. Start cutting. What I do is I cut a branch and start from my hand and work away from myself. I place the curve of the blade with the tip pointed down on the fruit and just snip and trim as I twist the branch in my fingers trimming the sugar leaves and whatever else into a catcher for goodies later. If they are smaller nugs then I cut them off the main stem and hold it between my fingers and work around it twisting. The key is using the curve of the blade to your advantage. Its ideal cuz your fruit is going to have curves. Once you get into it it will just come to you instinctually and naturally. ✂️
 
Yea im definitely getting the gloves, my fingers get sticky just from defoiling lol thanks a lot man you guys give the best explanations.. ill remember to trim away from myself and use that curve while twisting the branch. Got it! Hoping my trimmer has a big enough curve its pretty small and subtle. The trimmer itself is small too but i jacked it from walmart so im not complaining lol

Awesome glad you found it again haha.. man i tried suppercropping and i pulled a noob move, broke off the tallest biggest bud site. But i taped it back together and it seems to be fine, its crazy you can do that. My man brightlight dropped some suppercropping knowledge so i feel more comfortable if they keep stretching. Still a little leery about it though

The grow shop said maybe I cure too fast.... its 7 days hang and 7 days in paper bags then jar. Theyre dry and ready. Now ive noticed when I cure in May its different that Nov. If its 70 deg outside is different than 95 deg. I plan to paper bag them sooner., I think it slows the cure down. The dude at the grow shop said he hangs then a plastic turkey bag thats burped daily then done. I need to see what Nebula says about harvest. About the 3 week FF flush...... it couldent hurt. I also think their Sledge hammer flush stuff is for a reason and Im doing it. Im going to go work on my tent some. Great day Imtoasted.

Dont wanna slack off even for a day, got this on lockdown lol sweet man i will definitely look her up.. the dry and cure will be a challenging and intriguing part of the grow process. But ive got buds to grow still. Gonna start feeding them beastie bloom now cause its been three weeks with the open sesame. Feeding tomorrow or sunday.. cant decide my brother is getting married tomorrow and i dont want to be distracted, i already am. I should do it before the wedding cause im drinking jack all day and night once that gets going. Gonna be a blast cant believe my little bro is getting married guys gotta make a speach this is crazy guys im so pumped.

Also i may have enough money to get a mars hydro 300w.. looks like they have a better red spectrum and a little better spread and par values then my viparspectra 300w. Also 10 bucks cheaper and with veg and bloom switches. Idk what I was thinking before but im glad i looked at it closer.. so im also very excited for that as well. Thanks guys have a great weekend!

You'll like the Mars. Mine do me well. The only time I use just the veg setting is for seedlings. The rest of the grow gets full spectrum, both veg and flower.
 
Ok guys i did it.. i pulled the trigger. Cant sleep, measuring out my nutes for tomorrow before i leave and letting them bubble for the night, thinking too much. i always spend all my damn money right when i get paid lol at least i will be putting these items to good use!

Got a mars hydro 300w led light, so happy ill have two lights! Still gotta wait and make sure its all good though cause you never know but i feel they would make a good quality product.

I also got botanicares pure blend tea organic based compost solution.. lots of good stuff, humic shit amino shit will be great for the ladies soil. Will be getting ffs bembe too in a week or two when i need it.. its an organic natural sugar based solution stuff with good microbials for the soil too.

Cant wait to finish these buds off right guys i am so excited.. i feel like a proud father who has given their daughters everything they need to succeed lol hopefully not giving too many nutes at a time.. i am giving them seven seperate things lol but always watering with 24-48h bubbled tap water phed as needed. They love it though i can tell.. cant wait to add more organics to hopefully even things out in that aspect.

One more thing, i know this is a lot lol my rh has been too high 50s -60s and i cant afford a good working small dehumidifier right now, is there any other option besides turning up the exhaust fan to lower it? cause it doesnt do much.. I dont want to open any other intakes except my 4" intake duct i have currently. It may just be because it has been wet the past week and there is nothing i can do. Oh well thanks again guys sorry for my crazy thoughts haha

Girls look great bro and will love all the great extras you are feeding them. Can't wait to see them finish myself. You can relax a bit though if you ask me you did the biggest thing grabbed some more light. That will be the most valuable purchase. Enjoy your brothers wedding.
 
Feed them before your hungover unless its way too soon. You shouldent stress them the last month.

Low humidity is a beneifit of 600w hps over LED I see. My temps and humidity couldent be better! Make sure you suck all the excess water from the tent after watering. Put a fan up high in the tent. Lets see some pics Toasted!!
Im guessing the bubbled tap water is a fish pump bubbler thing put in the water bucket a few days and airiateing it? Maybe I will incorporate this for the tent? Could be a reason for the health of your plants.

Haha new car funny snarly.. i am backing off after this except for the dehumidifier, I think its needed sooner rather then later. I did check out that meizhi light but the mars seemed better for 4 bucks more. Cant wait!

Hmm well dutchess to be honest i feel like writing stuff down is cheating and i like to speak from my heart when things are so near and dear. I appreciate the advice though i really do. i cant wait for the cheering and applause, i usually hate being the center of attention and am a little socially awkward so its scary but i got this for my little bro.. i think shes great she keeps him in check. Will keep him out of trouble i like her a lot.

Yea ive noticed when it gets hotter in the tent the rh drops more but i hate that its that high and goes up so much at night. Ill try not to worry too much about it for now ive read people still grow nice buds with higher rh.

Yep thats all it is an air pump meant for a 20 gal tank pumping air into less then 2 gal of water, could use a smaller one but i just grabbed the stuff from my fish tank and bought an extra air disc and splitter and hose. I would definitely suggest incorporating it, i cant say for sure with hard sciency facts but imo it really helps oxygenate the water and gets all of the chlorine out of my tap water. My jug smells like a swimming pool from it after, its weird. I really 100% believe it makes a difference.

Wow guys what a night.. my new brother in law grows in Colorado and is getting 30k and a greenhouse in cali to grow in by the company he works for now. Crazy as hell, talked to him quite a bit tonight, such a great guy too, he cried the most at the wedding besides my bro lol

I took a big risk and showed him my plants and told him all that i got going on. He gave me his snapchat and said i can hit him up whenever i have any questions.. so fucking awesome, i cant believe that went down. He said it sounds and looks like i know what im doing and gave me good advice on drying, seemed concerned about that. So stoked about that just had to share with you guys.. got some good pics coming soon so stay tuned. So happy to finally meet someone in person who is even more passionate about all this then i am.. fuck yea guys!

Things go up and down in life snarly, dont wanna sound like a wise ass or a downer, but who knows what tomorrow will bring. Guess that is my pessimistic and depressive outlook on things coming through. I wish i didnt look at life that way sometimes but its good i do so it doesnt knock your dick in the dirt when it happens.

Also im not going out there with him just thought it was really weird that happened.. seemed like a weird coincidence. But i can always dream some day i will get a chance of a lifetime.. when that comes im smashing that pedal to the floor fellas. Getting pics ready now
