2046 : Chimp vs. Sativa

Leaf trait on Chemdawg D BX 3 plant (should have stopped the Pope Chimpus jokes).

I've heard of this before, though. Interesting.....

And while I'm on the subject I think I'll post a separate thread on the two-headed GSC plant. As it is going into veg I am seeing what I believe is a condition called polyploid, but I need an expert non-stoned-all-day-chimp to chime in on the subject. The first row of branches seems to be a single node growth on one side and two branches on the opposing side. There is also an extra branch growing out of the bottom next to the severed head where there should only be one branch. The next row up is too small to see yet and this light I switched to keeps the plant short and squat so it's hard to see detail. When people see it I think they'll think it's cool then they'll like it and I'll like that they like it and give them a like back.

One thing's for sure Ima keep it if it's poly. I'm even gonna name her "Polly". And if somebody asks "Does it get you high?" I'll say "Pro'lly....." :)

all the chimps I know are stoned so cant help you there.
but I like the post of you wanting everyone liking you mutant plant

Okay I just went back and looked and what I promised was no more "cheesy" Pope Chimpus jokes. The last one fell under the category "crappy" by anyones standards, so these haunted weed plants got to go by a technicality!

:hmmmm:

Oh and I want the two peanut butter and chocolate rugby eggs that I had to forfeit earlier in this thread back too!

*GULPGULP!!!!!*
Try and try again!
Thank you weed gods.....
my wife bought a 2lb bag of these itty bitty peanut butter cup hockey pucks GOAL!!!
so much for her cookie idea:)

This Roor would function a little more to my style if I took the bowl off, packed the body with weed and toked from the stem going into it I'll just use one of those long barbeque grill lighters and poke it down in there to get it going again if it goes out geez there goes another idea man I could have been a genius.....

I found something in the back of my refrigerator that could possibly be emitting CO2 in its decomposition. I'd use it for my plants nutritional needs, but it's been in there so long that I'm not certain whether the thing is plant or animal in nature.....
does it move or make noises?:hmmmm::bitingnails::scratchinghead:

It has hairs with pink dots on the ends coming out of the green fuzzy part that stand up whenever my hand gets too close. I'm not sure if this is a sign of aggression on its part, or static electricity from the carpet. I'll just be safe and leave it in there..... :thumb:

hope it don't eat the rest of my stuff.

day of the triffids

Note : the BC Bud Depot GSC plant with the mutation has double branching on the second row (one side; the other is a bit small to see but it appears to be doing the same). There is a full branch growing from under the fourth cotylendon (under? WTF?), but the severed head twin is starting to die off as I thought. I put a mirrored piece down and angled it in to try to give it light. When I cleared the first cotylendons off (the first set seems to be from the full grown plant and are dried up as they should be at this point) I saw one and maybe two more tiny growths coming out from under there (again, under? WTF?). I'll post pics as soon as the details get defined enough to see in the camera shots. The shop I go to has a tissue culture kit on the shelf. All joking aside, if this plant has a double chromosome I'm afraid I'm not good or smart enough to help it evolve into what it needs to be. I need to find out more because I know there has to be a way to keep the resulting seeds from being sterile; they say that about polyploidy in seed-bearing plants. Clones. Lots of clones..... :(

Here's the GDP and SLH clones, doing pretty well.

Man I leaned in to check my smaller unit yesterday and got one of those damned whitefly traps stuck in my hair that sucked. Had to use Everclear to get the residue out. I'm going to try to get a pic of the GSC this morning.

:peace:

you've been slimed.

you OK? really didnt like the post but I hit like anyway just so you know that I didn't like the fact that you fell down the steps
I fell down the stairs yesterday too.

I wanted to have these close-ups charted, plus I'm an old chimp that can't see too good so I wanted to get some visual detail. The new nodes off the main stem on that GSC plant are right at the corners of the cotylendons, not under them (I'll get a pic of the other side with the branch coming out at the cotylendon corner soon).

The best inside shot I could get of the double branching (this could be normal with some strains, and as a new grower I just don't know that).

This is without me pinching or topping these secondary branches (they're way too small to even try it, and even a dumbass like me knows that)

Here's the best shot.

Another branch not yet developed enough to see detail.

Oh and here's the rest of the grow. The other thing I've noticed is how fast this "twin dwarf" is catching up with the rest of the plants. One of the signs of polyploidy is vigorous growth.

ooh ooh ooh, AHH AHH AHH!!!!!
