She got some more training tonight as well. So far she’s the easiest to train. Seems to really like it. Haven’t had to remove any leaves from her yet. They all seem to grow in a way that they aren’t blocking anything. She might be meant for this training. We will see. Here she is.

She got her first training tonight. She’s gonna be a difficult one for a while. Her branches are thick and short which means they are prone to split if I pull too hard. I was able to get a couple ties on her but she will likely pull them down toward the main stalk as she straightens back up. But she will get in line soon enough. Reminds me a lot of the Pugsbreath. I didn’t put enough soil in this pot. My thoughts were that since she is going into a 7 gallon pot then if I short her a little soil now, she will have more fresh soil then. Only problem is she’s short as a mf’er. Here she is with her low profile!

Quite the variety for sure. I’m just doing my best with the PuTang. Hard to see what I’m doing in there when I’m trying to do the training. I need to thin her out a little. I may try to remove some of the side branching that is coming out the bottom of the mains and see if that helps some. That itself will be a task though. Lol. Bushy PuTang!

Here's the grape pupil topped once and not trained. It's hard to believe, but I thinned out lots of growth in the center as I was concerned about good air flow through the branches

You may just get a watered down pheno too. My Goji Pupil starts late and only goes dark pink in the calyxes. Star Pupil itself will always be purple - they bred the non-purple dominant gene out of it.

The breeder reports about a 50/50 split of green vs purple with the purple having a more uplifted buzz with no body high and the green having the head high with a bit of a body buzz with it. He prefers the purple. I think I would like the effects of the green. But I miss having purple flowers in my tent so I hope it’s the purple. Lol

Update:

Pre 98 Bubba Kush

Gave this girl some water with tea and a splash of transplant Drench tonight. Continued her training a bit. This is my only true Quadline from this grow. Had to remove 1 leaf that was blocking some fresh growth but most of the others seem to twist out of the way in their own. She’s probably my healthiest looking plant right now.

This girl is coming along pretty good. Did a bit more training on her tonight and gave her some water with tea and TP drench as well. She was getting a little droopy from thirst but not the worst for sure. I likes to let’s em dry!

Gorilla Bop:
Full blown transplant drench tonight. Training continues. This one is really showing signs of fungus gnat damage in her leaves now. Mosquito dunks went into tonight’s feeding of all the girls. Also got some yellow sticky traps to catch the flyers. Fans are blowing. Tried the apple cider vinegar in a water bottle but never had any land in there before it all evaporated.
