I refrained from buying the seeds. Lol. Big step for me.
Even won $220 at a poker game and still passed! I think if I do buy more it will probably be something proven like the triangle kush or landrace stuff.

if y’all were gonna put a single light in the 2x2, what would y’all be lookin at?

It depends on what it's for. I'd look to our sponsors first. Mars Hydro, BudgetLED, and ViparSpectra all have white lights that would be contenders for me. I think for a full cycle or flowering tent I'd try squeeze a Mars Hydro TSW-2000 into it, and turn it down a little. It's over powered for the space, but I'll bet with it turned down you'd get excellent coverage over the entire tent. If it were strictly for veg I'd go with the TS-1000, or equivalent from BudgetLED, or ViparSpectra.

I'd go with the Nextlight core but I'm biased. PM sent.

The Next Light Core is perfect for a 2x2 brother. Its 190 watts with perfect coverage for that area and can even be run fairly close in flower unlike a lot of LEDs out there. Thats almost 50 watts per square foot and perfect coverage with maximum height usage....hard to beat that.

UPDATE
Finally had a chance to upcan the PuTang and the Bop x GG4 tonight. Took them from the solo cups to 2.5 gal pots. Still haven’t topped anything yet. I did remove nodes 1,2&3 from both of these girls which isn’t the typical quadline procedure. I wanted to modify that technique for this grow, and the fact that the lowest branches of both of these were looking pretty bad, made them good candidates. I think I will grow the PuTang with 8 mains. Haven’t decided about the Bop4 yet. Maybe 4 maybe 6. We will see how they handle the new pots. I’m hoping they both start looking healthier.

I make the hole in the new pot with the solo cup. Then I put Roots Powder on the sides and bottom and on the sides of the root ball. I take a razor blade to 4 sides of the root ball as well. Not deep. Just below the surface. I watered them with Transplant Drench and a bit of Tea. I also hit them with some Destress Foliar Spray. Once they look like they are gonna be ok I will consider topping them. Here they are tonight.

What dank said. Looking forward to watching your modified quad! I'm doing an experiment myself I'm calling a tilt where I simply tilt and bend the plant so all grow shutes get light. Going a little slow but I still see how it could work....

Cheers Magoo and crew!:passitleft:

Oh, here is my tilt.

Oh, here is my tilt.

That tilt looks similar to a couple plants Ive seen grown here. I think Bilbo May have bent one over an empty water bottle and grown it like that. Turned out good if I remember correctly! :lot-o-toke:

I bend the plant, but I just call it LST. The apical is held lower than the lowers and the lowers are held flat until I'm ready for it to grow up. This one started heading up but I cut it down because it wouldn't show me what sex it was, and the other of the pair I planted was already showing female parts.

It's not trained yet, but I'll be topping and training it this week.
