And I just don’t know what to think about the Indiana Bubblegum. I scrapped the first one because it was growing all funky. This one ain’t pretty though. Lol

The roots are growing strangely too. Very puny until they exit the bottom of the cup. Then they look normal and healthy. Notice how the little side roots just kinda don’t go anywhere...normally there would already be a plethora of fibrous roots here. Maybe they need uppotting too. Or maybe I pop one more seed and see how it does and then pick the best one to up pot. What would y’all do in this situation?

Up pot and see what she does.
Seeing the roots makes me think that she might just need a bigger space with more soil activity. And then I think about that first one and it just makes me wonder about the genetics. I really wish I could just pop whole packs and find the keepers and move on. Lol. Maybe someday!

Give Crinkle Puss a chance, ha! whats with the solo cups? Why don't you start in 1s?

:passitleft:
I probably will next time for kit soil anyway. I wanted to uppot twice before flower to see if it had a positive or negative effect on size at around 60 days. There is always that burst of growth at uppot. Was curious to see if doing it twice would help even more. Last run though, I started them all in solo cups and the kit plants ended up struggling and showing deficiencies before uppot. And now this grow as well. I start to see the color variation once the roots have wrapped around the gap below the clear cup. Once there is an abundance of roots there, some of them start to turn brown. Once this happens it shows up in the leaves. Maybe because our drenches feed the herd in the soil and there is no soil down there.....maybe...! Anyway, plants I have started like this in other mediums with different nutrients seem to do well all the way till uppot. So from here on out I will start the kit plants in larger pots. Non kit plants (outdoors) May get the solo cups still.

if y’all were gonna put a single light in the 2x2, what would y’all be lookin at?
I’m just finishing flowering out under some of the Timber Daisies and they are very impressive. I’d be happy using just one at 95 watts in that space.
