next time gonna do your method and bars and see which works best for me
 
I believe Mr. Green and I are pretty much using the same technique with slight variations that accomplish the same feat each step and after tap-rooting his caters to hydro while mines caters to soil.
 
ok that is my next technique to try and see where it gets me when i order more beans:thumb::volcano-smiley:
 
Do you guys find some seeds (like haze in particular) look for a warmer environment to pop in? I did Ottawa's way - soaking in water and then in paper towel with 4 seeds and none popped. However, I was 3/3 with my NL Auto.
 
Nope Golfer, pretty much everything pops using the method I linked.

Sounds like you just had bad seeds...
 
Thanks for the feedback. I've already got replacements on the way but since I've waited so long to get the next grow going, I might go with the Jack Herer auto fem I'm getting instead of the haze.

TODAY'S UPDATE

Am back with a vengance major changes coming up in the next couple of days maybe. Am down to 3 Alchemy x3. lost 2 single alchemy's and my only jackalope ( pray for the dead and the dead will pray for you ) Sorry back to reality lol. am having a potasiun def prob and talked to a hydro store and they said high ph water will cause bad uptake of pot. So am gonna have to watch my ph better out of the tap it sits at 7.0 I been trying to keep it between 6.0 and 6.5. Also found out i am over feeding em so gonna drop down on amount of nutes used. They have been in veg for 48 days and will be flipping em this weekend. will add fotos in the am just wanted to get this out
 
Well I was wrong, now I am getting reports the seeds I made are not sprouting mostly! Damn. I touched the shit out of them, so maybe there is something to pigeons theory. Sorry guys.
Perhaps it is better if I just wait until I have room and try them myself instead of wasting your time.

TODAY'S UPDATE
Well woke up this morning looked in to grow and F@@@ I have spider mites. Went out and got some diatomacious earth and dusted all my grow mix and pots was told that this stuff would take care of it.Should of seen it looked like i was a baker dusting a table to roll dough out .hands were white pants were black (until i wiped my hands with this "flour" all over my black pants). Note to self shut off fans before trying to work with this stuff. Temps are holding between 70-75 in the smaller space so that is dialed in pretty good but the humidity side of the meter is now unreadablke from leaving under the damn light so humidity is unknown but so far it has stayed at ok and the highest reading was 55%. Had the girls out while i was dusting the pots so go some new pics. the plants have been in flower now 8 days

On a side note sorry I am not on as much as i would like but life is keeping me insane at the moment thank bob marley everything ( except the spider mites) has been smooth in the grow.
 
Everyone got a gallon each with budda grow budda bloom and trinity and the pots and plants got dusted for spider mites I am gonna git them suckas

well I am one pissed off bear right now came home to find my roomate stole my 2 babies becaUSE SHE WAS WANTING TO SMOKE needless to say she is no longer my roommate now am haveing to shut the grow down till i can afford more seeds or clones. i will still be floatting around on everyones sites but this journal can now be moved to abandon or completed

Wrong approach B A R. Bear, sometimes life just sucks and you have to keep going anyway. Sorry this grow was a bust too, but stop and take a breath.......................

You have better lights. You know more than you did before about filtration and environmental control. Every step you've taken has brought you closer to the goal of a successful grow. Do whatever you need to do to burn off the frustration (I assume you know that anger serves you no purpose here, so let it go) and get right back on that bike. We're all here waiting for you to get up and running again.

You know you want to. You know you will eventually. Make it sooner rather than later, ok? And Bear - this really sucks hon. :hugs: :Love:
