I just can't justify paying for more expensive nutes. And .... just about every post with BPN nutes seems to be positive. Since the 3 part costs 50 bucks and the 7 part costs 75 bucks, I don't mind spending the extra 25 bucks to get the extra 4 products. In our local hydro stores, you can't find any gallon of nutes (regardless of make) that is cheaper than 50-60 bucks a gallon. So, I can get 3 gallons of three part nutes from BPN for the same price.

No preflowers. Just signs of her sex. I didnt flip the lights yet. Im vegging her for 2 months so she has until the 15th of november. I plan on taking more clones from her and topping and maybe a super crop here and there. Maybe on the super crop. But ill be getting her scrog ready. I updated on my journal with her pistols showing if you want to take a stop by.

I was going to add more to this thread today. But, I have to admit it was a very unproductive day. I went to the Cannabis Farmers Market in Tacoma Wa. It was fantastic. More bud than you can shake a stick at. Must have a valid recommendation to get in. Everyone letting your try free samples from edibles, tinctures, bubble hash, oils, BHO, Kief ..... and anything else you can imagine. Needless to say, after about an hour, you have no idea what you came there for ..... LOL. And .... the prices were soooo cheap. Everyone competing for your business .... life is good.QUOTE]

I just saw that a BerryWhite BX is going to be released soon in your area $100 a pack. I'll have to go check out the famers market one of these days.

I've been running my new bong through it's paces this morning ..... LOL. So, I have a little more energy than normal. Figured I'd go down and take more pics since I needed to check on the ladies anyway.


I'm so suprised at how fast this stuff grows. Every day when I got check, they have at least a couple more inches of growth. The Scrog is coming along well. The Maui Wowie is working out the best for Scrogging. Here's some shots of the Maui ..........

Although the GDP and LA Kush are growing well and seem to be liking thier environment. They just don't have the same vertical growth (as indicas) as the Maui. It's becoming obvious that the Maui will be ready to flip to 12/12 long before the GDP and LA Kush will have filled out thier parts of the screen. Something to take into account when mixing strains in the grow box. Next time it will be all indica plants or all sativa ..... that way they'll veg the same ... or similar anyway.

So I decided to take a good look at the lower branches. I just can't see most of them being very productive since they are going to be getting less and less light as things go along. There are a couple that look like they might be able to make it up to the screen. But, there are others that have no hope. I'm thinking of taking the lower branches off and sticking them into rapid rooters. But, i'm not sure when I should start stripping off the lower growth. Any advice here would be appreciated.

Now for the really good news. I officially have perfected the method of SLOW CLONING. If you are wanting to figure out how to take a clone. Put it in a bubble cloner for a month and get absolutely no progress. Then you've come to the right place. These stupid clones are really starting to piss me off. When is the cut off?? When do you just say "they ain't gonna make it" and throw them out. Not sure how long I should keep messing around with these stupid things.

I keep fighting the urge to go down and flip the lights to 12/12. I really want to start flowering them. But, they are just now starting to Scrog correctly. It's SSSsssooooooo hard to be patient. I was at the Tacoma Cannabis Farmers Market and they had some GDP there. It really caught my attention since I am growing some. It looked and smelled so good. But, I didn't want to get any because I want to wait and try my own. I'd hate to get some GDP and then like it so much that I end up rushing mine .... just to get some more. .... LOL.

Im the same way right now with mine. But I dont have my grow room set up yet so its delaying me into flipping the lights. So pretty much I dont have a choice but to keep vegging. Also I see the benefit of vegging longer so I just want to continue to veg.

If you want your plants to produce alot and nice size buds. i would say veg longer. You will really be more happy with the results

Yea go for it. Keep your clones at 60-70 degrees and your humidity high. Mines is at 70-80 degrees and 80% humidity. Warmer temps will insure roots

Great plan there good to see that your not a greedy grower and are willing to take the time to get the right response from the plants.

I decided to grow more for convenience and final control over my product. Luckily MMJ is legal here. So, we have other options. And, since the dispeceries/collectives compete, the prices are good too. So, I can always find something I need/want while I wait for my grow to complete.

Plus, I don't use too much. I smoke several times a day every day. But, I don't go through a ton of stuff. So, I figure if I were to get an ounce per plant. That would be more than enough to get me through to the next harvest. And right now I am only growing three at a time. I thought about doing more. But, for my first grow I didn't want to get in over my head. I figured if I had a dozen or so plants and started having 1st timer issues ..... it would only complicate everything.

I start reading and learning more about what I as doing wrong with my plants and start learning about the products I was using. So I got smart and really sat down with my self and said, "Im not going to be paying high ass bills for nothing." lol

That straighten me out right there. I read your forum you made about "How much does it cost you for your bud to grow" And it makes alot of sense to break even your first grow and then double or even triple second grow. No point in growing if your not really into doing it. Because it will just be a waste of money and time.

Yeah im the same smoke everyday if i can depends but harder here in the u.k as laws and things quite tight.

I definately think you are taking the right approach to it and as you say if 3 plants will get you through to each harvest then to be fair, i wouldnt do more than that if i could as will always be getting the freshest cured MMJ and always will be what you want.

Thats so true i know people that have started to grow before strictly to do nothing but make money and on there irst grow they spend £1000 getting all they need and then end up neglecting there plants and getting small yields, then start complaining about it, whereas if they had taken some time to read and grew for themself then put some into each and every plant you will always see great results as yield is not such an issue and you are getting out what you put in
