1st Time Grow White Widow & Seedmakers Autoblue

Iv never had Sheetrock on my plants, but I used to do sheetrock and we got it on EVERYTHING including house plants. And rinsed it off in LOTS of lawns and flower beds and never hade a problem. It's pretty much an organic material really. The only thing toxic are some glues and lye that is added to hold it all together. But I believe the toxicity disapates with time. So assuming its old dry wall you should extra fine. Plus I know it completly breaks down in water. So a good flush might not hurt if you really wanted to something to get rid of whatever might have been absorbed. But I wouldn't sweat it to much. They look good man.

Lol, ya if the tooth paste can hurt you smoking theyr drywall might turn you into the hulk!

I too am about two weeks away and I'm going nuts! Iv been in the edge of my seat since the first spriuted, but now it's On another level. Iv read the times that seed banks and breeders advertise are under ideal conditions and a common mistake first time growers make is pylling theyr crop because the calendar says so, not the plant. The best way to tell is by watching the trichromes change to amber under jewelers loop or magnifying glass. I got a pretty good loop ( I think?) for 30 bucks. It seems to work really well. Then it's five days in the dryer and two more freaking weeks to cure! It's seems like its never going to be ready to smoke sometimes. It can be an emotional roller coaster of anticipation and excitement tempered with sense of hopelessness that it will ever be done. It's really more fun than anything else I do! Lol!

Be Patient my friend, it's all we can do. Your plants look great and youv out in a lot of effort I'm sure they will reward you.

Soy, Been trolling the grow for a little while now and your plants are looking really nice. I have never done autos before so I have been kind of watching over your shoulder.

Only advice I can tell you is to keep notes. I have small biinders I keep my notes in. As the smart people say, History repeats itself. So I keep notes so I know what I did when I screwed up and what I did to make things right.

I saw people talking and I saw damp rid I'm going to buy a few of these for the room.

I would never have thought of that! I bet it works. You can get Damp rid in a bag or small pot ( cup ). The bags are usually in the house wares department of Wally world. Check the automotive area where the RV stuff is also. Any hardware store will have both. The bags are easier to deal with cause they have built in hangers.

I have nats or something all over my soil how should I resolve this?

Probably fungus gnats. If they are real small and black that's a fungus gnat. I have them as well. Hell almost every soil grower I know has them. There are several schools of thought on eradication. Check my journal there are a few pages devoted to this. DonPaul has some great ideas also. I used SNS 203 and modified it a bit within a small watering. Its completely organic. Mostly rosemary. About 20 bucks at a Grow shop. Seemed to do the trick. The Gnats will not hurt the plant but the larva will eat roots and have been known to borough into thick stems. This is worst case scenario. Some folks use fly paper sticky traps and hold them at bay. DonPaul uses fly paper and covers his soil with newspaper. I wouldn't go to nuts over them. Just do what ya can.
