I'd say your fine. Before I got my AC with built in de-humidifier I'd get almost 90 in the room and be 7-10 warmer in my box. It certainly isn't ideal and the plants definatly grow better at lower temps, but I don't think you'll kill it or stunt it's growth at all. Mine was running hot for weeks before I got an AC unit. Mine still did ok. I just harvested on Monday. My autos are almost five weeks along now, but were super crowded the first four and only one of the 8 look as good as yours.
Check to see if you AC unit has a "dry" mode. I had a dehumidifier going in the closet too until I noticed that option. Now it fills a lil resevoir I have to dump. Idk if that's a common option or not. It's my first portable AC unit iv ever owned. I grew up up north. We had portable heaters instead, lol.
Sounds hot!! I have had that issue a few times. Seemed that my outtake fan was not doing the job. Got a bigger fan and sometimes I open the doors when I can. But that's not practical!
The temp seems OK with doors open and the RH is a bit low but nothing to stress about. It really comes down to budget and stealth needs. I have to be stealthy occasionally. This allows me to open the closet door 50% of the lights on cycle. That keeps the temps down to 77-79 with RH at 50%. With doors closed Im at 81-83 with RH at 50%(?). I keep my two 4" fans moving around depending on need. The taller plants will get a good dose of air toward the tops and CFL ballasts. The other Fan acts as air mover. I keep a 12" circulating fan at the top of the closet to blow out hot air. This leaves the intake as passive which works well. The doors open helps circulate some fresh air as well. I also keep myy AC at 74 as I live in South Florida.
If the budget allows for a inline high CFM fan with good ventilation to an outside area ( attic, window if useing a can filter, etc... ) then do it!
Sorry to give my story here but I wanted to give you some insight and see if you can use any of the basic techniques for help.
Well I have been told there are optimal RH percentages for different stages ( Seedlings, Veg, Flower, Curing ). Check this article out: Science behind Plants & Humidity
An inline fan is what I was telling you about . CFM just stands for Cubic Feet per Minute or how air will be pulled out of the room given the CFM number of a given fan. Figure out the Cubic feet of your grow space and pick a fan that suits it. Remember that there are other factors that may call for a larger more powerful inline fan ( canister filter, are you pushing or pulling hot air, etc.... ). Check the sponsors on this site or Google inline fan. All the info is there.
There are plenty of inexpensive inline fans out there ( Amazon, E-bay, etc... ). I do not even use one now but when my tent comes I will. The smell factor is pushing me to a canister filter and inline fan. I'm gonna vent into the attic.
Hang in there and feel free to ask any questions. I'm not a pro but i can help you find the answer or ask the best people!
Has the site been down for anyone else? It kept giving me some live reset crap the past few days. Looking good sawce! Very tasty! Proud as hell of you man you took advice and blew things up! You couldnt ask for prettier plants.
Ive never seen one either. I know that the Auto Mazar can yield over 7 but its a long growing Auto. Here are some pics of a Mi5. Not my plants. I think the yield was 4oz but not positive. Ill ask.
