Supercropping is more a last resort to get a handle on height during the stretch of flowering. THe stretch lasts about 2-4 weeks. After that they don't grow hardly at all. If your buds are doing well they actually lose and inch or two in height.

I would train the plants before I would Supercrop. Supercropping is stressful to the plants. Supercrop your arm or finger and you will see what I mean. :)

How are those little fans working for you? I have two at the very top of my closet pushing out. They butt up to a 3" gap in the top of the doors.

I found using regular scotch tape to tape down a leaf to the side of the pot or other stationary object is a very effective way of getting them to bend over. No tying at all. Just tape on to the middle "finger" of the leaf and then to the pot. Usually the tape will pop off before the leaf rips. And if the leaf does ripp off, it's just the middle finger of a leaf. Not a whole leaf. And you can't really bend the stem too much or the tape pops. So you know it's low stress. Some of my tieing down attempts looked like some pretty torturous S&M shit by the time I was done. I broke some stuff trying to wrap around the stem multiple times over a few inches so as not to stress one specific spot to much. I would make an awful surgeon! I read a journal where a guy cut his in half by using twine wrapped once and pulled to hard. Over a day and a half it worked most of the way through the stem and he lost it. With tape it's pretty idiot proof. I like that :). The worst u can do is break a small part of a leaf you were going to pull off later anyways. Thers a good vid on YouTube about it. That's where I got the idea. Check it out, you'll get a better idea than my discreption.

Looking good though man. I'm anxious to see when you get flowers, I'll bet you are too haha.

just make sure with any lst of any sorts that you release it every few days and give the plant a few hours to stretch, the stem is still growing while your using lst so it can snap the stem as it bends the plant further, so its best to untie any lst and do this every few days and leave it un-tied for an hour or so then you can tape or tie it back down then

Well that one super crop i mentioned eariler since i kind of broke off the part where the bud would be i ended up clipping off the whole branch its been over a day now since i did it and it looks like shes still pushing up . But what i did is the piece that fell off i planted in some soil to see if its possible to clone it and save something haha. Its been in soil for over 24 hours now and it hasnt withered so maybe its rooting?!

hi mate, it will take at least 7 days to start growing roots, chances are its a thick stem and this is supporting the plant, it is hard to root in soil without some rooting gel or powder, but id say the only chance you have is if you make a dome to cover the clone, it will slowly wilt and die, so get a 2ltr pop bottle and cut it so the top is slightly taller than the cutting or clone, then place it over the cutting creating a sealed dome over the cutting, this can be pushed into the soil slightly to make it keep humid, all i do is put my cuttings in small pots, dipped in rooting gel, i then cut the top off a 2ltr pop bottle and place it over the cuttings, then 2 or 3 times a day i mist the clone with a spray bottle and just normal tap water, then i mist inside the dome so it keeps it humid, what you dont want to do is keep watering the soil the cutting is in, keep the soil slightly moist by spraying it but you dont want to water it like you waould water a plant, doing this will stop roots growing as quick,
the idea is to spray the cutting with water and inside the dome with water, this creates a humid condition that keeps the plant alive, then this ecourages roots to grow as the plant is still alive so it pushes out roots, id take off any big leaves that are below the top of the cutting as these will use up the moisture to quick and take longer to root.

so id get a 2 ltr pop bottle and cut the top off so this top is big enough to go over the clone and it creates a humid seal, once you have done this take off any big leaves on the cutting or cut the fingers in half so the leaf is a lot shorter, then get a spray bottle with a fine mist and spray the cutting and the inside of the dome 2 or 3 times a day and have it under constant light, doing this will give you the best chance to get it growing roots, not having this dome will cause the cutting to die as it has no roots to take in water at this stage, this is why cloners either have a dome or spray water over the stem,.

so give that a try and you may find you will get roots in 7 to 14 days time, but id leave the dome on for at least a week or possibly 2 weeks to be on the safe side, make sure you mist the cutting and the dome at least 2 times a day, dont water the soil as you would with a plant as this will slow root development down, so just spray the leaves and the inside of the dome then put the dome over the cutting and it should steam up, this shows us its working and keep humidity as near to 100% as possible, without the dome it will die within days,

Hey soysauce, how's it going, I've been watching your grow and it seems to be going great. Congrats on that. I was interested in how you were making your co2. I bought a couple of co2 canister things called the enhancer they are sold by a sponsor on this site. I think they worked. This is my first grow so maybe it would have turned out the same I really don't know. I am absolutely positive that co2 will help your plants, but I understand that for it to work efficiently you would have to have a sealed room. But I would still try it my self if it didn't cost a lot. The co2 that I purchased was pricey and one cannister was only good for two weeks. it was yeast, water, and something else. You can see the bottle in my pics. Have a good one Bro.

I'm really not sure which way to make it I saw on the guide on this site that led to a YouTube video. It's yeast sugar and water I'm going to try making this today.

Lol well I looked up a lot on the auto blue recently to try and find if someone else grew these. I couldn't find anyone . But I finally found a site where it tells me all the info on this awesome looking herb.

the co2 gen is just water and yeast and sugar, but make sure you get the amounts right, you need warm water but not hot as it kills the yeast, plus co2 is heavier than air so if you mounted it above the plants it will fall down on to the plants, you only need it running when the lights are on as plants dont take in any co2 during the dark period, but you can make your own co2 gen, i made one a while back and it worked well and the plants responded well to it, i used a 2ltr pop bottle and some tubing, some people use 2 bottles so it can bubble through the other bottle, this creates a seal so the air cant get into the yeast and sugar bottle, but basically all i did was get some fish tank tubing the air pipe stuff, then filled a bottle with warm water, not hot but nice and warm, then added a couple of cups of sugar and shook it up so the sugar had desolved, then i put a couple of tea spoons of yeast in, this then bubbled away for over a week, if it slows down you can give it a shake or add more sugar, but the yeast turn the sugar into alcohol and when the alcohol level gets to high it kills the yeast, so adding sugar can keep it bubbling away longer,

their are many guides on making your own co2 gen, the best option would be to google how to make diy co2 generator and you will find loads of guides on how to do this, their are guides on here and people who use this method to give the plants extra co2, if i come across a guide ill post it here so you know the correct amounts, their are different yeasts as well, the one that last the longest is champagne yeast, but i just used the stuff you use in baking bread, it dont last as long but mine was still going after 7 days, plus this yeast is cheap to buy and you can get it in small tins, so you could change the mix every week to keep it working at its best, its a lot cheaper than buying the co2 gen from some sellers
