1st Time Grow For My Beautiful Broken Brain

Hi everyone, sorry I've been quiet on here.

Well, I'm still in hospital on the general medical ward waiting on a bed being available for me in the neurological unit.

While I'm waiting we are getting some tests done in the meantime.

I've had an MRI done which gladly showed no structural abnormalities ..

Had a lumbar puncture yesterday, the doc was amazing as I didn't feel a thing. I was so pleased at that, I can take pain but if those procedures aren't spot on it hurts like you can't even describe ..
It'll take a while to get the results but my brain felt really clear after it, must have needed a release of the pressure of spinal fluid.

Sorry I haven't got any grow updates or progress for you all but I am still dreaming of a mini forest of medicine ..

Hopefully Scotland will follow the example of our Celtic brothers & sisters in Ireland and get the legislation put back to how it should be.

Love you all out there., keep growing and sharing the love and kindness with each other.

Heh savingson..

Thanks for your kind thoughts, how's your boy doing with your medicine?

Great to hear from you Ninja. And to hear you are doing ok. Lil mans having a rough few days w seizure activity. He ALWAYS gets spikes when we have a Full Moon. If the moon can effect the tides in the ocean why wouldn't it effect us? We are made mostly of water too. It sucks. You can't control the moon phases. Sending you all my love Ninja.

Sorry to here the wee man has been struggling recently.

Modern (western) society really underestimate the effects that energies and frequencies have on the body and soul.

Magnetical and gravitational fields heavily influence every cell and atom in our bodies.

We are in effect all made up of bio electrical energy, including our thoughts and consciousness.

Sorry if this is comes across as a bit out there savingson. You already know this, and how it affects your son's health. Don't let anyone try to tell you it's not.

Lots of love and healing thoughts coming your way ...

If I remember correctly their are 7 stages to brain injury. But doctors still don't fully understand brain injuries due to just how complex the brain is.
In 1987 my mother had 15 pallet's fall off of a forklift onto her head while she was at work. We were told that she would not make it past 72 hours. She was in a coma from June 1987 till sept 1991. They used an experimental drug called pam that ultimately led to her awakening. My mothers quality of life was never the same but all of the things we were told she would never be able to do some of them she was able to accomplish again. The brain is a wonderful organ and so complex it is capable of much greater things then people realize. In 1987 we were told she had 72 hours at most to live. My mother passed away in 2012 25 years longer then the doctors gave her. Anything is possible just keep pushing forward and never give up and if the doctors tell you some stuff you don't wanna hear just remember that just because their doctors doesn't mean their always correct. I hope you have a harvest for the record books grow2healme

Thanks for sharing your experience with me cannoisseuras ..

The brain definitely is a weird & wonderful thing indeed.

It'll be 2 years in August since my brain injury due to a shingles virus.

All along the way the doctors at the hospital haven't been able to give me much help at all.
My family doctor has been amazing and is so frustrated that she can't help me much in my journey.

This time around I will be making sure that every possible test/examination is conducted and followed up on fully.

I never give up, it has never been in my nature and won't ever be. I have an amazing family to fight for that need their husband and daddy to be here for them.

My own research has brought me back to this powerfully healing plant. I know that this is what holds the key to a better quality of life for me and has given me the drive to learn as much as I can do.
Maybe then I can help others ease their own difficulties in life that pharmaceuticals only seem to make worse.

Thanks again for your kind words of support and encouragement cannoisseuras. It really does mean so much to me.

I'd def go with the fem too. Leave the guessing game for round two maybe?

When the tests come back clear, (must always think positive), you'll actually have a baseline to start from.

I know you're an overachiever so please start slow. Thank goodness our gardens take months, lots of time to rest in between.

I'll send healing smoke . your way.

Hugs .

., looks like its decided. 1st grow will be 1 fem medical mass and 1 fem blueberry ...

A couple have been checked of the list, so far so good gthm.

It'll probably be a good thing that my brain has told me to slow the fuck down. Pacing has always been the hardest thing for me to manage.
Just going to follow my plants leads ..

Oh sista, I am missing my real meds . but I'll gladly take some your passing over ...

I'll pm you for a chat

@ GN30 - OMGosh, your MRI is clear, what amazing news! That means it's not a stroke, cancer or anything that could structurally impair your brain. So that is a HUGE sigh of relief. :cheertwo:

According to my experience, this means what's happening is clinical and will take time to diagnose. Which is still high alert for brain injuries, but could be a major sign that your garden is unlocking your brain, dare we say. Hopefully they'll give you more Occupational Therapy with your clinical results.

The guantlet of tests you're going through is pretty standard to rule out TB and such. It's not easy to go through, I commend you for your courage. Can you imagine if they say, there is nothing wrong with you??? After all this, if doctors CAN'T "see" anything wrong, they will send you home. But that's okay, because you have a rehab garden plan at home.

In the end, if you're not in ICU, there is really nothing they can do for you. Monitoring you for changes is really their only goal, deductive reasoning on their part. If doctors had all the answers they would be able to explain why music can help brain injuries heal. I wonder if our gardens are something we are emotionally attached too and is why it's so helpful for us.

I'm NO expert, I'm only 1.5 years into my journey but WOW, we are going through the same things medically. And I'm proud of you for keeping your boxing gloves on while you're in the hospital. You're in good hands and so is your garden. Bereef in Yourself...lol

You've got a pretty cool vibe going on in this journal, keep up the great work.

@Cannoisseuras - Wow what a powerful story, thank you for sharing. Thanks for the harvest best wishes. I just got a new light so I'm giddy in excitement about future harvests. I'm sooo ready by now...lol. ;)

Holy shit all of you are awesome, I played call of duty for ten years, THE WORST COMMUNITY EVER. After obsessing for months about growing inside I finally said fuck it and bought a couple seeds lol. It's so exciting

Hi DaddyDeLucKs.

So sorry to not have thanked you when you 1st joined my journal.
I sometimes can't think very clearly and forget things that I was supposed to do, like welcoming you. So.......WELCOME to my story .....

How's your grow coming along my friend?

Just checking in every Monday to see how you are doing? How goes it my brain friend. .

Hey there my beautiful broken brain buddy ..

I'm good thanks, apart from a wee bit of cabin fever going on here ..

We seem to have turned a corner with my neurologist today so fingers crossed that we can get some more answers.

I've ordered 5 x 40w 2700k CFL bulbs and a thermometer hygrometer yesterday so that will be waiting for me when I get out of here ..

Another step closer to my grow .

Always great having a wee visit from my green fingered soul sista from across the pond.
