1st Grow: Blue Dream

Thanks Brother, going to check them out too.
I just love :420:!
@Asesino85 ’s thread is actually how I found this site. I was googling about ways to control plant height and it was one of the links that came up. That’s the good thing about this site (well one of the many), you can learn from people who have the results you want. It may be that you use the quadsquad for learning about training and maybe you look to @SweetSue for medicinal applications or just for a pick me up. Let’s see @LadyGaea has great info on culinary endeavors. As do many others. @Van Stank and @Ms Stank grow monsters and more specifically a monstah right now! And as long as you are active on here you usually won’t have to wait long to have any question you may have answered. Pretty remarkable really! And sometimes you just stumble onto something that blows your mind. For me it was the cobbing. You talk about a thread where there are a lot of great minds on here talking about something new to most of them(cobbing) but it’s changing the way they cure their cannabis and giving them a totally different experience. I made a thread that is just for the basics of cobbing and put it in my signature just because the main thread has exploded. Hundreds of pages in just a few months. Very cool stuff in there. I’ll link it in my next post.
And @JustMeds is like the macgyver of the people I follow on here. Lol. Anyway....just a little shoutout to those guys and everyone else who does so much to help people on here! There’s many more I didn’t name but I’m bout to walk into work! Lol.

Dang I didn't know that. I know @newty mentioned before that she's googled some things and seen my stuff on there but I guess I never have tried. I also didn't know that you came here because of that. That's pretty cool!

Hey Bud, could you direct me to the #quadsquad teacher? Can you teach me?

@John Wick That is me, and nice name man! I love those movies. I'll be over to your journal at some point and get all caught up. I will say this, I tend to be involved as long as people stick to my way of training. The moment people start to try too many things I tend to vanish (new people want to do everything at once and it usually ends in shambles and a total waste of time). If you want to quadline than I can for sure throw some help your way and I'll watch your grow with you the whole time . I noticed you started in on my journal so if you have any questions/clarifications just ask me in my thread. Almost anyone who quadlines is there and often they will get an answer up before I do. I trust all of them to give you the correct information. If they don't than I was a bad teacher! So far I've seen nothing but correct information coming from them passing the technique onto others.

Thank you for help. Someone suggested that I not quadline white widow Auto.
Because it was suggested that because it was an auto it wouldn't give it time to recover.
I'm going to get some white widow fem. and use your method for my second indoor grow. Thank you for your response and in the meantime I would like to pull up a couch and enjoy your journal. When it's time for me to learn, I can assure you that this old Humboldt hippie will be dedicated to put in the time and effort. Green Day's to you!

Veg day 45
RH rockin around 45
Temp 73-78 F

So yesterday I got the girls out for some sun and cleaned the tent one last time before flip. Watered the girls while they were outside. Just water. Tonight I did a little energy redistribution on both girls. Wanted to treat with the Neem oil again for the 2nd application but wanted to get rid of some leaves first. Here is Smurfette before defol.
And here she is after.
Party Girl is quite a bit shorter and uglier now. Guess she’s been through a lot. Jinxed her with the name I guess. Lol.
Also, found this leaf with 11 fingers on it if u count the 2 tiny ones at the bottom.
Hit them with the Neem oil and closed the tent up for the night! I’ll catch u cats tomorrow!

Yerrrr buddy. Look healthy AF. They'll produce nicely me thinks. When I flip I dont bother introducing bloom nutes and ween off the veg nutes I just switch it straight away BUT my bloom and calmag combined holds enough N anyway so obviously it may not be beneficial for yaself just my 2 pence worth :D

Just kicking back watching a beautiful thing happen. You go Bro!

Hi bro,

After reading this thread :

Increasing yield with defoliation indoors - What's it mean? How to do it?

I think I ll change the plan. I will remove biggest fan leaves on Thursday and give them one week to recover before flip next Thursday. I ve seen that they recover quickly in my setup so they should be good. The goal is to allow to give the lowee bud sites more light and time to develop more. This should make them reach the height of the taller other branches. I also plan to remove a lot of big fan leaves at day 21 of flowering.

I thought I would share this with you as I had previously plan to flip like you on Thursday

I don't plan to defol as much as the thread advise but I will for sure remove any light blocking leaf for sure

This last defol was different for me. I guess because the plants are finally big enough for me to be comfortable moving all the branches around but I was able to really get a feel for how each branch grows. On the bigger healthier plant there are about 5-7 decent bud spots per branch. A few of them are a little low but not covered after this defol. The smaller plant has a lot more budspots at the canopy because I did some training to bring them up a bit. I imagine the larger plant with fewer budspots will produce more in the end but I guess I will see. I think I got a feel for what will come off when for the next grow. So I’m excited about that. I’ll probably still ask. Lol. But that time I will be seeing if my thinking is correct.

Side note. Frost here comes in late October usually. Thinking about throwing an auto outside if I can get the seed in time to finish before then. Just a thought.....I got the bug! Lol

Up until now:
Started the seeds (which came from I love growing marijuana) a week ago in moist paper towels. The tap root popped out in just a little over 24hrs. I placed them in Jiffy pellets the next day. Only watered them twice this week because they seemed to hold moisture well. They sprouted the day after I put them in the jiffy pots. I was hoping to keep them in there a little longer but the roots were already coming out of the bottom and starting to poke through the sides so in the pots they went today. Oh....there are 2 plants for this grow. They were under 24 hr light for these first days. Switched to an 18 on 6 off schedule today. Plants are sitting comfortably at 67% humidity and 73 degrees F.
Hi poparo, stoping by to see your grow Journal and I'm looking forward to seeing more I like how through your description of the grow and setup.

Veg day 43
To flip or not to flip?!
Temp 72-82
RH 35-45

I’ve done some minor defoil every other day just about recently. Looking for bugs (finding a couple) and just tidying up a bit. No more signs of webbing but seen 2 bugs....killed 1, the other was on the main stalk but I couldn’t get it. So we are 6 full weeks into Veg. Is it time to flip? Here are some pics of the girls!

So pretty keep growing
