1st Grow: Blue Dream

I m so glad we flipped same strain at the same time!
That is cool! How long did you veg? Mine was right around 50 days or so and I didn’t count veg till they were above ground for about 9 days I think.

afternoon mr.G, bumping into you all over today, so I had a good look at your girls now now and I wouldn't say they've skipped a beat to be honest.
If you don't mind me asking what is your next cycle after this, are you popping seeds.
Sorry my thought process is where you going to put the new prospects while these girls flower out, cause if you can do that then try your hand at cloning as you have some prospects that look worthy, but I admit I don't recall if you can or not....an enquiring mind never stops...haha
I just have the 1 tent for now so I will have to complete the whole cycle including drying in the same spot. A fact I haven’t disclosed is that this grow is a hidden grow within the house. Have kept it hidden from all the little ones including 2 16 yr olds. Lol. I’m sure that’s not sustainable but I’ll keep it that way as long as I can. If I can get the seeds early enough I may do 1 auto outside before frost if I can. And I’m torn about the next run. I’m tempted by the quick turnaround of autos but I definitely have some photos I want to run also. So I may alternate between the 2. Photo wise I’d like to run some headband and chemdog from Humboldt and maybe Malawi x Panama from Ace seeds. Will definitely add a plant or 2 next run.

Mine were vegged 4 weeks starting from sprout. But I grew multiple ones to save a few weeks of veg

Flower day 4
Temp 68-79
Rh 43-60

Not a whole lot to report on. I’ve been trying to stay out of the tent during transition because it makes me want to pluck leaves. Haha. Wanted to let it do what it was gonna do for a few days anyway so I could get a feel for them. They have grown a couple inches since flip. I watered the girls with some calmag and water tonight. Here’s a couple pics. Not the best quality. I apologize.

Magoo,
These chicks look great.
Training is on point.
Carry on.:high-five:

I would definitely remove the growth on the stems but the others you have marked you could leave a bit longer if your vegging longer. With the camera flash it's hard to tell what kind of light is getting to those leaves

Likely it all could go without doing any damage but they'll grow a little bigger and then you'll look at them and know it's time to go. Pretty much what this guy said. ;)

Thanks derby! Flipped to 12/12 a few days ago. Just wanted to remove any low stuff that wasn’t helping anything and some of the stuff on top that was blocking light. There’s a few bud spots that sit a little lower than the top of the canopy. I uncovered those and tried to manipulate the stem to where they sat a little higher. There are also several that are sitting a few inches below the top. Not sure what they will do.
Thanks Ase! It’s killed me watching it look scraggly under there! Lol
I just don’t want to remove anything that’s gonna be part of bud production and I’m not sure where that line is. Leading up to flip I left the top 4 fans on each branch right below the new growth. Today some of those leaves were 5,6,7,8 down so I took some of them out. It had also been 7 days since I treated for mites and wanted to give a good thorough look see. No signs of the buggars! I’ll probably feed tomorrow and I’ll give some updated pics. I don’t think I took anything I shouldn’t have but that just based on my very limited sense of knowing! Lol.

Hi Ase,

I tend not to remove fan leaves that don't block anything. I don't really see what those you marked are blocking. I would look more into the center of the plant to see if some are not hiding. In general those which are at edges of the plant. Regarding the growth on the stems I m in the same position. As I plan to do some defo at day 21 (mostly end of stretch) , I think the best is to let them till that time in case much stretch wouldn't happen! Cause if they don't grow tall a lot, those bud sites may be useful later. Just my 2 cent
