Thanks Growchy! Yeah the Blueberry is starting to dominate the smells again (since its the front right part of the tent). I need to restock the Blueberry coffers, they are down to only 7 grams left. The ATF really just takes over. I really am looking forward to seeing what ATF 2.1 plant yields me. I got about 4 oz's off her mom but that mom wasn't nearly as big or have the number of colas that her daughter has. Hoping to come in at 5-6 oz's from her alone. The other ATFs weren't as big or have as many bud sites, so I am thinking probably about 2-3 oz's per the remaining 3 ATF plants. Gonna give it a guess of about 13 ounces of ATF total.



Oh yeah, that Sativa is definitely easy to see in the ATFs! The Durban is the one that is interesting. Plant wise it seems to grow a bit more like an indica structure. Leaves don't look at all like Sativas. But I love that smoke. Gonna try making some Durban Poison oil and see how that turns out.

Johnny!! Whats up brother.....nice to have you swing back through. How are you enjoying the smoke from your harvest? Yeah I am experimenting with a few things this grow. Decided to try the Mammoth P. Running one plant that was the same size and same number of tops on it with water only. The way I figure, if the Mammoth P works, I will see either a difference in size, yield, frostiness, or potency over the plant that I am just watering only. I guess we will know in month or so.

Gonna really start playing around with organic teas on my next grow. I think my soil is at a good starting point for what I want in that I can run a plant from start to finish and do water only if I choose. But I want to start maximizing what I can do in the soil so I think the logical next stop is to add teas to my tool box. I like the idea I can both feed the plant and soil in one shot.

I use earth Juice natural crystals, they don't harm the microbes.

I gotta say, I am pleased with my ATF coconut oil. It offers some really good pain relief, lasts a long time (seems like i feel relief for about 12 hours), I get great sleep on it but I can't take it right before bed or I wake up in a seriously groggy state. I played around with both dosing and timing of doses. Seems like the best route is to take at about 6-7pm and I get good relief for the evening and great sleep with little to no groggy feeling at 8-9am the next day. I am currently taking between 3/4 teaspoon and 1 teaspoon. I will continue to play with dosing and time a little more, I want to know the low end dosing and upper end dosing. Very very pleased so far.

The buzz is a completely different type of buzz than smoking it (at least at the dose I am taking). Much more mellow and chilled buzz. Going to push the dose tonight up to 1.25 teaspoons and see how it feels. 2 days in a row with no smoking, my lungs are happy and my back is happy.

I have to try the batch of ATF oil I did in olive oil. I need to find the right dose for that batch and make sure the timing is about the same. Very interested in finding out how the affects of different strains feel via oils. Do indicas and sativas feel drastically different in oils? Gonna have to wait a while on doing any blueberry oil. Going to perhaps have to slide another indica into my next grow, or perhaps run another Blueberry in the small tent once its open.

They dissolve very quickly and the change is almost instant. I ran a few tests to see if the numbers creep up or down if you wait at all and they stay the same 10 minutes later or 3 hours later.

Generally for my watering practices, I fill up a 5 gallon bucket, and 2 gallon jugs about 2 days before I water. I let the set for those 2 days so any chlorine will evap. From there I add my fish fert (if I am going to use any) which drops the pH enough that many times I don't need to add the earth juice. I also add the Cal Mag if I am going to use any and I check the pH to see where I am sitting without anything else. Sometimes I don't have to use the juice so I just add the Mammoth P and water if I don't have to adjust. If I am still outside of the 6.2-7.0 range, I will adjust and then water.

On the occasions that I am going water only, I just use the tiny bit of crystals, mix it up, let it set for 10-15 minutes and then water. There have been times I have added the crystals and watered immediately. Either way, works great. I don't every use the chemical version of pH Up or pH down.

Yeah I am going more for potency. I don't want to have to take a bunch of oil every day. I ran this last batch twice.....I ran it once with trim and bud and it wasn't as potent as I wanted, so I put the oil back in the MBM2 and ran it again with an additional 15-20 grams of decarbed bud for an additional 4 hours. I have the potency about where I want and I like the length of the relief.

I have the Durban Poison oil going now. It will done in another 4 hours. Hopefully it will be some good stuff. If I need to run it again with more bud, I will be more than willing to do it.

Things here are rolling along well. Buds are swelling and stacking very nicely. On cruise control for another 2 days before watering again. I will be adding teas into the final few weeks of flowering. I have a tea brewing right now with a bit of Earth Worm Castings, some Seabird Guano, some Bat Guano, and Molasses and a touch of Epsom Salt. It will be done in a day or two. Will start to work on finding the tea recipes I want to use in conjunction with my soil.

Was looking for more seeds that were ready in the ATF 1.1 plant but none were showing real clearly as being done so I will leave them be.

Took a few more pictures than normal today. Enjoy and happy growings!

Actually re-evaluating my grow plans. Toying with the idea of going to kind of a perpetual grow with a harvest every 2-3 weeks. My thought is to plant a new seed every 15 days or so. I figure it will take the first plant 8 weeks or so to be ready to move to the flower tent. This approach will let me shift the focus of the grow a little easier. I can alternate indica/sativa/hybrid every seed so I will always have a good supply of everything. The idea is to have either 4 or 5 in various state of flower and 4 in various state of veg. This also allows me the plant space do three clones as well.

The only issue with this approach is the ability to go away on vacations. I am exploring some DIY auto watering pots so if we want to leave for a week or 10 days, I am not handcuffed to the plants. I will figure something out. Either way I will let the current crop finish and then decontaminate everything to make sure all mites are gone before starting any new seeds.

I do a perpetual harvest and LOVE IT AUTO/VEG OUT MOTHERS #1 room, #2 is flowering #3 is flowering, and I pull down room# 2 next and then #3 then clone and restart my flowering

I made an auto water system, then didn't use it

Used a 5gal bucket, a Toro rain barrel timer that takes no psi to activate. Foam drip hose on each pot....I could water all of them in 15min.....nice and even water, all gravity fed


I'm kinda doing perpetual myself, keep planting and harvesting, keeps me from getting bored....oil

Next big change will be my own genetic engineered mutant plants....

I've found with oils, once decarbed you rid the flower of it's terpenes so I don't find any difference in effects of oil. Sativa or indica act the same I've found. The real only difference in effect I get between strains is the amount of cbd. I've done oil tests for terps and it showed there were none left after the oil was complete. I use my least favorite strains for oil and keep the special ones for smoking....Good luck!

Interesting info Neiko. Its one of the things I was talking with Ms Stank about in terms of grow selection. Being new to oils its learning everything all over again with the strains I have. But if what you say is true (and its something I kind of suspected to be the case) then from the oil perspective, it doesn't make much sense to run anything but a high yielder/fast finisher. I mean why grow out a 10-12 week strain for oil when you can bang out a 7-8 week strain. And if none of the enjoyable sativa high is coming through, no use in using it for oil....unless their is a difference in the pain relief. I will try the Durban Oil tonight and see if I can find any difference between it and the ATF oil.
