Here are some pics. The nice camera is dead, these are from my phone.
This first pic is about 4 days after 4/20 harvest. The stuff was hanging dry, but after a few days, it was getting dry too fast. So I took all the hanging branches down, cut them in half and placed them in the box that was lined with parchment paper. I also covered the buds with parchment and placed some magazines on top to compress the buds a bit.
The buds stayed like that for another 3-4 days then they were trimmed from the branches and placed in jars to cure.
You can see the different colors of one half of the box compared to the other. The darker buds are from the top half of the branches. The greener buds are from the lower half.
And here is a pic of the final take. I ended up with over 90 grams of trimmed bud. I left the smallest sugar leaves on the buds to provide a little teardrop shaped protection. I was not too picky about grading the bud. It all smokes fine for me, so only the very bottom loose buds were sent to the leaf bag.
There's over an ounce of sugar leaves for hash making and budder.
