How many days of no light can the plant stand. I was going with 2-3, but I read more is OK. Hell, I can make it go dark from now until 4/20 - 5 days.

I doubt Im taking the day off work, so the harvest will be in the eve. Will keep you posted.

i have put them in the dark for final flush for 10 days before, and Nirvana seeds SPECIFICALLY suggests complete darkness for 2 weeks for their strain of white widow..... i know you arent growing NWW but still.... the info is there to suggest up to 2 weeks is fine. it actually forces the buds to stop any new growth production and makes the plant concentrate on the crystals to protect the buds.... much like most human females, MJ females feel like they are on this earth for one reason only.... to breed. only they can do much cooler shit than human females to make sure that happens and being in the dark for a length of time will let the plant know it is nearing the end of its life, and its now or never for pollination, so it will grow tons of sticky ass crystals in the dark in hopes of catching just one little male sperm pollen floating through the air....... it just wants to fuck man.... thats all

p.s. i put my 6ft monster in the dark 2 days ago..... so that will make 6 days total before the 4-20 harvest...... and i would have gone longer, but i just decided to get into all this 4-20 hooplah a few days ago and made the executive decision to chop her early as it is.... so if i had the time, i would have put her in dark for longer.... maybe 10 days to totally let her finish up.

So what was the outcome of how many hours of darkness before the cut? I didnt do any cause my RH was a little tuff to control. I was hoping for a purp pheno but didnt get one. Looking foward on seeing it dry. This 420 will go in the books for ya. enjoy..

just couldn't do it. Too many days. I'm going to give her 2 1/2 solid days of no light. From 7 AM Sunday 4/18 until about 10 PM Tues 4/20.

omg , it's like the fall color festival in there. Time lapse would be awesome. All the sugar leaves are dark purple, almost black. The calyxes look so cool all layered and swelling.

it's not the SIZE that counts...... at least that's what the wife tells me anyways.

Holy smokes.
A few hours ago my wife grilled outside and we had a yummy chicken dinner. Afterwards I really wanted a smoke, but we are running really low.

So I decided to take a sample snip from her at 10 weeks +1 day.
I snipped some small buds off the scraggliest stem. Quick dried some.

So it's been 40 minutes.
I'm baked, my mouth is so dry.

The first 5 minutes were so fast and rushy. Z-i-n-g

when I told my wife it smelled really veggie, she was not looking to happy, but I explained how it gets better with the proper dry and cure.

So she takes the first hit, and gets this wry smile spill over her face. And I ask her , "what?"

she says, "if this is what it tastes like now, then we have some really good shit"

LOL, fucking eh. I agree. After smoking this stuff [that was only quick dried over the course of 90 minutes on the top of a cooling grill] I was really happy. The exhale had no nasty cough effect.

I'm really looking forward to a good cure and a quick reveg so I can clone her.

we were hoping that you could add to the party on Tuesday.... what time you chopping again?? will you be available/online tuesday at all?? can ya' take a whole crapload of pics for us and upload them RIGHT AWAY at least??

yeah, get with me if you wanna help out the cause please.... PLEASE. yes, it is exciting to see a huge plant come down.... but very VERY few people are interested in growing one.... (not that they dont WANT to) ....... and its not that i cant grow small plants too but sometimes some questions are just better answered by the grower ya' know??

Prob 10M CST , I will remove fan leaves and take pics along the way. After she's all trimmed up, I will snap a few more photos, then chop her down and hang.
