Today I clipped a bud and took it apart. No pics.

The buds are violet, purple and green with lots of orange hairs.

I peeled each leaf off one by one.
Then when I got to the calyx.
I slowly and carefully peeled and unwrapped it.
Layer after layer she came undone.

And when I got to the middle I found a small flat brownish thing
that I can only think is a seed forming.

I took apart multiple calyxes. Same result in each, looks like a tiny immature seed.

So tell me good people.
When you do a deep inspection of your bud and peel away the layers of the calyx, do you always find this? Or NO?
 
Hey joe just saw you had no smoke over in jasons thread if you want to smoke some harvest tonight just take a nug wrap it in newspaper and then throw her in the oven at 125 for no more than 5 minutes;)not quite the same as a cured nug but it works just fine and also you could take some bottom branch nugs and make some finger hash(It doesn't take to long to dry at all) on the greenhouse seed co. strain hunters india video on you tube theres a how to.. everybody has to smoke some on 420!

I am not about to take my nugs and start rubbing them vigorously between my hands like I'm trying to start a fire unless:
1. I am actually trying to start a fire
2. I have a harvest of pounds not ounces.

thank you never-the-less, we will have something to smoke.

I removed all the leaves I could by hand from the live bush. She really looked fantastic. My fingers were so coated with the sticky sticky that I never attempted to take any pics.

I got about 1/2 g of finger hash.

I cut and hung the 14 branches. It was quite the experience that I want to do over and over.

I have not taken any pics yet.
Last night I layed out about 1/2 dozen small leaves to show the coloration change from green to purple. The last leaf was completely wide, healthy and purple, yum. But before I could grab the camera I was unexpectedly called away and had to put everything away in haste.

I will take some pics tonight of the leaves and of the hanging branches.

During harvest there were a few small buds (or rather parts of buds) that came off. We put those on the side and quick dried some in the oven again.

Even now the stuff smokes smooth, burns clean, does not produce a cough and gets me really high.

I think that's because of the long flush. I set it up for 2 weeks, but went for 18 days because I decided to wait until 4/20 to harvest.

Next time I will bud them with more amber trics and give a 9 day flush.

It smells like lemons. Bubbles when it burns. Tastes like, well, hash, lol.

It got me really high. I smoked 3 or 4 hits of a hash topped bowl and was high for hours.

We still have .3g left, I'm trying to save it for final trim before the cure.
