1080w LED Inferno

Damn so your 3W into 12/12 and they are just slugging along? I think once temps get lower they will respond. I know I read it before that high temps and Humidity inhibit flowering or slow it down. Plus the light leakage, any chance you can add some CFL's in there 2700k? I know I would even though that might raise them temps just a thought. Any idea on how many lumens the LED's output anyhow? I know they are mixed spec but i cant find any specs on lumens for them. Makes me want to get a lux meter prior to getting two 180's.

ya i could be the heat? to be honest i dont really see the need to add CFL i have more then enough light for those girls. i have no idea on the specs of those lights, not even sure if leds are measured in lumens? either way i wouldn't know? never really got into that stuff or ever asked mike

i mange to keep my temps in the lower 90's
thats good to hear my first grow was mostly in the 90's and my plant pulled through.
nope it was just like suprize lifes a bitch!! the heat just hit me hard core
the weather sounds like thats what happened where i live. we had cold spell then two days later 90 degrees.
i wonder if the jump in temperature kinda shocked them.

Looking good Irish.Yeah its realy hot up here 2.Like 110.The way I am dealing with it is I am robbing the freazer of ice cubes and laying them on top of my hydroton. That way they melt and keep roots cool.I have good ph out of my well so no worries. If your nutes are phed all it will do is raise ph a little.I would try this and maybe less nutes for a couple of feedings mainly keeping nitrogen at a min. This may help induce flower growth.IDK.but any way your grow is looking veary nice.:bravo:
PS...The out door hut is doing well. All covered up with shade tarps.Plants have been lolly poped and got a little tlc. They seem to be growing regaurdless of heat.Got some monsters 8-10ft tall cristmas trees.I will share some pics soon.Flowering has yet to realy kick in.

Their lookin' really nice there Irish. Super healthy despite the temps!
Is it the GH MaxiGro and MaxiBloom dry concentrate that you're using on this grow?

i was using the GH 3 part for veg then switched to Maxi bloom for flowering.

Man that canopy is looking tight! :bravo:

thanks man!

I wanted to get some of your opinions on something? i was wondering since my plants are late flowering, you their be any side effects to putting them in the dark for 24-36hrs to help them kick into flowering, then go back to 12/12? i have no idea if that will mess them up? or help them flower? its been 21 days flowering and their hardly any sings of flowering. any advice you be helpful

I'd vote no, but I'm a believer in mimicking nature when indoors. With the exception of solar eclipses this is unnatural.

I'll stand corrected if there's any science to back up this idea ;)
