1080w LED Inferno

God Bless Sunglassess! Oh yeah, welders visor works too but makes me sweat (good call TorturedSoul). :smokin:

For those who haven't seen a serious LED (like me before Jul 3d), we're not trippin and staring at the "pretty lights". The reflection is similar to white out i.e. snow blindness and it's just awesome.

Sorry Irishboy, I couldn't + rep ya cause I gotta "spread it around". I was just grateful for not only the LED tip but I just employed your LST style on my almost mo old Northern Light girl. It's only been 36hrs but I can see her lower branches responding.

Man I'm glad I found 420Magazine and the great assembly of humanity that participates.

Oh oh.....I babble. Did I ever mentioned that I smoke weed? :tokin:
 
DAY 14 OF FLOWERING

I think i messed up a few days ago i realized my timer was leaking a light from the inside, and my swamp cooler and a few red led that stayed lite up the whole time. i am not sure if that messed up the flowering? but its been 14 days and their not showing too much sings of flowering. last grow i am some good size flowers forming already. maybe its just the temps or something els? IDK. i fix all the light leeks from the timer and swamp cooler. so i might be a week behind now? or it could just be these cuttings?

Weird about the delayed flowering. Those damn little LED's they put on everything can definitely be a problem if not taped over.

ya those little leds that are on everything somtimes are a pain in the butt when trying to flower bud plants.lol. i covered them all up just incase this is the reason? i dont know if thats the reason or not? but things are lagging this time, but i am just happy their all still healthy:wood: i should have just done the 36hr dark period before flower to kick things into gear, they seem to be at least a week behind and that how long they were exposed to the little led light on the swamp cooler and timer. dont get me get me wrong it wasn't a very bright light but it was their and noticeable, but not very bright so i dont know? maybe its the maxi bloom nutes compared to my Lucas formula last time? maybe its the hempy? or the temps? well just have to see how long until they start flowering good. if nothing good by next week then ill start tripping.lol

Its hard to say but by going off of my last grow i am shooting for at least 24-30oz since i have 2 more plants and using hydro and more led wattage. but who knows i could end up with a bad harvest due to the heat. so all i can do is hope for the best. i am hoping their going to do pretty good since their so healthy, i can find one leaf with a problem. so i hope that helps.lol.
 
have done anything with the 180w, like im using? just wondering because i am wondering if i should just get another 180w or just a 300w? i lean to the 300, more wattage and good revues from u, but then since i have a 180w already then get a 300w, would i be able to use both at same time or i sort of think it would be un balanced with a 180w and a 300w sitting next to eachother. what do u think?

thats all based on you and what kind of money you want to spend? if it were me and i already had a 180w instead of a 300w unit i would just get two more 180's since their around the same price as the 300w. you would have more foot print for more plants or bigger plants. i am not sure how things would work with a 180w and 300w next to each other. i would thing half of your buds would be bigger then the other? not to sure thats a good question. but two more 180's would be my pick instead of the 300w
 
ya im sure one side would have bigger buds than the other, that would suck and be disappointing.
When u do the lst, do u keep bending the stolk down words as it grows so the other nodes catch up. My silver haze is just climbing and only a couple of nodes are up there with it.
also u were telling me about lollipoppin i think, lol, ive done a lil bit, but i have on all three a node at the bottom that looks good and is long and def. gets good light, and up there with top cola, if i leave it will it not turn out very big cuz it is near the bottom of stem or does that not matter since it is tall and healthy and gettin good light?

i LST when their about a week or so old, i just eye ball them and when i fell their ready i start bending then down little by little and i just keep lowering the main stalk lower then the side branches. every other day i bend it down a little more until its slightly lower then the other branches then i leave it alone.

with lollipoping if the branch is a good size and its kinda thick and it looks like its gonna support a good size bud then i leave it. i only cut off the small thin skinny branches that dont receive too much light. this weak branches would support/grow fat buds so i direct that energy to other places.
 
right on! ya i havent really been bending then down and down to much, have u go much experience with sativas, ive been told with my silver haze it has 3 windows of flowering just before i chop chop. but what i mean is, when the plant is good and ready to chop down and trichomes look good, dont chop down and leave it a couple days and the trichomes go back to clear or something and the buds just get bigger, and u can do this like 3 times before u chop down. i have heard of this for the vietnamese dalut bud, but no other strain, ive read about.
do u know if i can do this with the super silver haze?

If you get two 180W let me know. I plan on getting two of them come the fall time.

Yes, red light ON during the night time when the girls R flowering will slow flowering down BUT it will not cause them to reveg.. So yeah their might be a slight delay but all should be good soon. A black light on for 15 min after the lights go out every day for the next week or so can make that time back up...

that is true i for got about the black light.:goodjob: ill give them a week and see how they look, if still lagging then ill have to change things up
 
The delay could turn out to be a good thing. The ladies def look like they're stretching a little and with them 300w's lined up should have no prob punching thru the canopy giving you some sweet, plump colas.

Bottom line, they are looking great.

It's hard to imagine my 180w getting brighter. Since you been there, do you think you could tell the diff between the two if you didn't know which is which simply by looking at the light signature?

I def like these lights and have room to add another. Watching your grow makes my decision easier since your doing the "leg work". :peace:

ive never seen the GLH 180w so its hard to say, but i would think i would be able to see the difference between the 2
