That's funny, reminds me of the time back in 1974. Tried to grow out a plant with incandescents in a closet no vents, no nutes... pretty much no nothing! Didn't even get to budding, 12/12 wasn't even known by me at the time. This activity planted the seed in my mind to do this for real some day...when I grow up. .V.

so true, my 1st plant was a northern lights x5 clone i threw out side, i knew nothing! i just put some miracle grow soil and a few miracle food stick in the grow and left her alone. and to this day it was the biggest plant ive grown and yielded.

24/0 is perfect for any light. you get 30% more growth and the plant can still do all its functions while the lights are on.

but i wouldn't change your light schedule now, just finished it and next round go 24/0. Ive heard it will can stress thats not needed, going from 24/0 to 18/6 might be ok but i wouldn't do it the other way.

Thanks Man! I am glad I asked. I will keep it at 18/6. I think the only negative is that I will need to keep them in veg a little longer. :rasta:

You helped me make a decision on my HSS light a while back... too bad ya' didn't know you were going to have Mike's lights to test at that time and have success with as well..... which once again you have helped me make another decision !

Funny thing is... I called Mike "back then" to order the 180.... but got impatient and ordered HSS instead. In hindsight...... exactly!!!
 
Glad to hear they are handling the heat... Keep up the nice work and it won't be too long now.... Can not wait to see those ladies all full of flowers...

I plan on getting one of the 300W or perhaps two 180Watters. That after I do a grow or two got to get the best from what i already have.

their not really stretching maybe 1" but their bushing out more and filling in nice, tons of buds sites shooting up all over
