1080w LED Inferno

Irish - I got the Dynamite Jackson & Perkins crf today, and if I jumped through all of the hoops correctly, there should be a picture attached! It looks to me as though it lacks boron, copper, and molybdenum. It seems strange that they wouldn't include them in a formulation that has micronutrients in it. Now I need to come up with a source for those three. Oh, it is supposed to last for up to 9 months.

ya Silica is what u want. the stuff ur talking about is it, called Rhino skin made by AN, witch IMO ur about to get riped off. AN is real good at that.lol.

the stuff you want to try to get is made by Dyna Gro. called protek.. you should pay no more then $14-15. AN has real high prices and ive heard its more watered down from reading forums.

ya it is rhino skin from AN, i didnt get it cuz i wasnt 100% sure and the guy didnt know either.
silica not silicon, lol, thats funny shit. DG, protek, i will look and get, thnks bro.

what your opinion on malasses?, i thinking of maybe trying, cuz i see alot of people use it, do you?

thanks allot for posting the pics. +REP!!!

it seems to be low on the Cal but allot higher on the Mag. not really what i was looking for. seems the purple has the best profile, but i will say the red bottle is doing far better then any other on my grow, you just need to add cal.

you need to talk to Doc Bud he knows allot about adding the stuff you need. hit him up.

ive used it, before and it works great. i use the gro tek carbo max now, because i am lazy and hate mixing the molasses in a cup and dripping that thick stuff all over, but its cheap and works great. most hydro store stuff is watered down molasses that cost u $20.00.. mix 1TBS per gal and mix it real good its real thick.

Since I can't get Mike to answer my emails for the used 345s, I think I'm going with these: the C150

Welthink

They have a 90 degree focus and 3W diodes.

Gonna throw a 400 HPS in there too since I'm a new grower. Doing hempy buckets maybe with CRF, maybe not.

Based on my conversations with the importer, this should cover at least 12 plants. If I find out differently, I'll let you guys know.

cool keep me posted on how you like them:popcorn: two of then along the side of the 400w would be cool. will be honest i really really doubt it will match a 400w or 600w HID. dont belove that bro. on the spec says its a 120 degree not sure if their hooking it up for you, but just wanted to let u knw just incase u read it wrong?

i like the bar style. hope everything works out for u bro, keep us posted.

Whodat don't be fooled... Do your homework.....!!!!!!

The first thing I see....... I would call bunk on 460nm blue... Example...460 blue is the first blue leds that we started seeing in LED grow lights 5 years ago...460nm blue works good for tomatoes but lets just leave it at that..

The good led companies have figured a few thing out since then... For one, 460nm blue should not even be used..... It's a waste of board space..

Actually anything above 450nm's for blue is a waste of board space...

It's the little things that make ya go hummmm...

Good luck bro...

All right I'll look at it further...just in case I want to switch, how many LEDs and of what brand do you think I should go for 12 plants? BTW I'm a chick not a bro...lol

And Irish, these are the LEDs str8touttaweed used on the cannabis board. You may be familiar with them and his grow.

no i haven't been on their for a long time. way back when, i use to be on their but it was allot of led hatting so i stopped going on their.

if you know someone that has good results with these lights then thats a plus.

if u are having a hard time getting a hold of mike send me a PM and ill get you into contact with him if you want?

Has anyone on here tried the LumiGrow ES-330? It's pretty spendy, but it sure looks like nice workmanship, made in the USA, etc. I know there are some people on IC that sing it's praises.

Well, damn. I got a message all composed to go green, and discovered I can't PM until I get another 40 posts. That kind of works against those of us that don't have a lot to say!

jeeze those are gonna be big it looks.
hey mate, i went to my nearest grow store to look for silicon? i just found one thing and it was like rhino something(the make) and it was basically silicate, is this the same thing? is this what u use maybe not make but a silicate?or silicon?

Rare Earth by General Hydroponics is another silicon product. It's cheap and it works well, but it's a dry product. It's a really fine power so it probably won't clog things up, but at least a portion of it seems to never dissolve. For systems that have small-bore pumps/emitters, there is a "filter sock" that comes in the tub. But it tends to not last all that long, so you'd want to make something a little more durable if it's a concern.

And "a little dab will do you," lol. I've used the stuff in cannabis grows, the rose garden, the (other) herb garden, and both vegetable gardens and still only go through a small tub in a year. I don't follow the directions so much as just sprinkling a little here and there, but even still... I once put about half what was recommended into a DWC and went away for two days; while I was gone the pH spiked so high - from using too much silicon? - that the entire garden looked like I'd hit it with industrial-strength defoliant. And it wasn't one of the vegetable gardens, either <DOH!> I've read (and experienced) that some GH products are fairly dilute. Apparently, this isn't one of them.

Hey, Irish Boy, you have to cut a hole in your floor yet, lol?

cool thanks for the info TS. im just doin a soil grow with no systems or anything, u say you never use recommended directions, how often would u say to use, like once every two weeks?

irish how often do u use the protek from dyna gro?

In a soil grow in the ground, once a month. In a container... About that, maybe every three weeks. But it really is "massive pH-spike in a powder," lol - I'd be extra careful with any silicon product and extra EXTRA careful with that one. If you put too much in a soil situation, I doubt you could easily flush it out.

ive heard that shit is like glass in ur lungs, so be very careful because the dry form is not safe to breath in.

yup had to cut the fool out, how do u think i got the light higher?:tokin:

to be honest i dont use it anymore, only when i need to up my PH. i dont use it for 2 reasons. 1 i heard silica at the end of flowering messes with taste and 2 when i swticed to a res i found the silica to get the bucket slimy.

bro you want to grow some fat buds, trust me pick up some of that DM the red bottle then some cal/mag+.. these red DM buds are freakn huge and rock hard. i sear ive never felt buds so rock hard. it beats the purple DM and OC+ hands down from what i am seeing on my grow. the only bad thing is it doesnt have Cal in it, so you have to add it. the purple DM is complete and does great, but not as good as the red bottle, the OC+ seems to do good in cooler temps, but i would pick the red DM over any of them to get fat buds.

is this your first time using the red DM? where did you get it at? im using the fox farm nutes, is it ok to switch to the red dm for my flowering and prob my big bloom for root health? can it be used for soil grows too, or just hydro?
