Zurple's DWC Bag Seed Grow Journal, 2019

First month in the books. Other than a few janky leaves, some nute burns from top feeding, and dropping my rapid rooters into the buckets too early, I feel like I have learned a lot. I have corrected some stuff along the way and the plants have responded well so far.

Plant 2 accidentally had one of the main stalks split when I was push down some foilage for some light penetration. I will need to do some thinning soon, but going to give the a few weeks before getting the pruners out. Plant 2 has been rough from the start, so I practice on it since I feel like it may not make the final cut. It may surprise me and be my only female, so I have to be somewhat careful with it.

Here are updated pictures after my water change this morning.

I think the air did the trick. Plant #1 is looking fantastic
Thanks for the advice, it worked great. Plant one is by far my favorite. She's a fat bush.
I wish I knew the strain, especially if they turn out great. Maybe I should keep the pollen if one is a male and then clone a female and get seeds on a later grow.

I used my original air pump in my water change buckets to mix my nutrients and adjust ph a day before water changes and it worked great.

Usually the day after a water change my numbers jumped up. This time it wasn't as extreme. Maybe not necessary, but I had everything I needed to do it, so why not.

I did my first lst on plants 2 and 3. Plant 1 stays consistent and bushy. Wondering when should defoliate?

Hey just read though your journal plants look good. Looks like you have had some good help along the way and I have learned alot about Dwc. I use An in promix and think it will be perfect for Dwc when I start after my current run in promix is done. Good luck the rest of the way.

Thank you. Let me know when you start your dwc grow, so I can follow along. I may be advanced enough by then to offer suggestions and answer questions.

How many days are you at?
Just completed my 4th week of veg. I originally planned for 6 to 8 weeks. Since this was bag seed, and I don't know the strain, I figured I could wrap it up, so I can grow my purchased strains.

I'm thinking about switching to flower next Monday. Pros and cons?

Pros - you get bud sooner

Cons- you get less bud

Looks like you have it figured out now though, so I say go for it so you can move on with your known genetics.

Now the excitement starts
Yes. Just hoping I have everything dialed in correctly, especially since I'll be switching up the nutrient somewhat. I will probably do my first week of flower with the same ratios.

Looking at the previous post with the picture of the stem, will the main stalk start growing to raise the canopy, or does just the canopy grow?

Keep in mind this is my first plant that I've ever watched grow. loll
