Fluffy -

Okay, I know you brits are all into "stiff upper lip" and all, and that's certainly noble... but this is a community of friends who care about you deeply. I'm pretty tough for the most part, and definitely not one to enjoy whining (whinging I believe you would call it) but sometimes it's healthy to vent steam a little when you are with friends who can often relate or care about you. Doesn't make it bad at all. Also, helps us understand if you're not posting as frequently or as long of posts - or just taking a break. Whinge away any time Fluffster - you're amongst friends here!!

Gulp. Sniff. Stop making me lose the stiff upper Xlr8!

I love you for this. You are a special soul my friend. I see warm and cosy colours, no wonder you have a way of making others feel good about themselves. I wish the world had more people like you in it.

Thank you my darling. So very much

Post Script - I bloody hate this not being able to post so much. Not impressed Fluffy, nope. Doc is definitely going to be writing some prescriptions on Friday! It's that loss of what is a real lifeline and keeping me sane strategy (i.e. computers, internet) that's upsetting me so much at the moment... will get it sorted ....

Sqwheels!

I really appreciate that. I can't wait to see just what these are like once vaporized - the OG Ripper smells fabulous. The Deadhead Ripper smells lemon fuely, which is sometimes realy, really nice - heck I just can't wait to try both!

Still waiting for mine to arrive, thought it would be here already. EZVapes are being great, apparently it landed at customs a few days ago. I went with the Magic Flight in the end. I didn't have the money for it so I am definitely going to work on it if it doesn't suit me straight away. I may well be coming to pick your brains as you are/were an unwilling convert!

yooo bro! how are ya? im tryn to reconnect with erbody since my hiatus. glad to see youre still around! dood that deadhead looks frrrrosty!

A good book to read is "The China Study".....all this talk of the FDA, doctors, food pyramid. It changed my mind. You can grow stevia too, I grow it near the mint.

Plants are looking great X.

Hi Mrgivemethat!

First of all, thank you! :thankyou:

Thanks Fluffster, you sure have a way of making me smile and feel good! I appreciate that - sincerely. Hope it gets easier for you to post... I know what you mean about lifeline - this is a great community that helps me stay connected to others who share similar life challenges and passions. So glad you're a part of it now, too. :)

Hope you get it soon, Fluffy! I also hope you like the MFLB, it's a nice little vaporizer and very compact/stealth. I have less sinus issues now that I vape almost exclusively. I love not having the lingering odor, too. :)

Welcome back, Ricky! Great to see you around again. Was bummed when you decided to take a break from here. Thanks for the kudos - I'm really jazzed about the Deadhead Ripper, too. Looks and smells like it could be good stuff. Sure has a lot of the Deadhead OG influence in the looks department - will be interesting to see how the taste/high compare...

Thanks for the tip OG - I'll look into that one. I like anything that enlightens me in some way or causes me to look at things differently, even if just a little. :thankyou:

Have you guys heard much on the new Brad Pitt produced documentary? Supposed to support ending the war on drugs and advocates for more sensible drug laws. Glad to have someone with his name recognition involved in our movement...

The House I live In A film by Eugene Jarecki (Executive Produced by Brad Pitt)

Looks like this film focuses on the cost of the failed war on drugs - in terms of incarceration, social impact, etc., especially as it relates to marijuana. I haven't seen it yet, but am happy anytime we get something out there that helps enlighten more people and has support of someone who can bring further attention to what's really going on.

Jack the Ripper - Day 40 Bloom:

I forgot to take pictures of the Jack the Ripper that I have in coco coir (Airpot). I feel like she never gets as much attention in my photos due to her position in the tent, so I wanted to take her out and photograph her and give her a little more love.

She is a great plant/mom and would have been a real winner as a long-term keeper mom, but I have such limited space and so many other things I want to grow, too. It was a tough decision though, because this is definitely a keeper pheno. JTR is a great haze strain - nearly pure Sativa. This pheno of it is short with really stacked nodes and doesn't stretch much - even with this being a former mom with a lot of veg time, it didn't stretch much at all. It has a tendency to really get bushy and needs a whole lot of thinning/attention, but it's pretty cool to have a fantastic haze plant that wants to stay under 3 feet.

As I've mentioned before, it's also very high in THC-V, similar to THC but with slightly different effects and medicinal properties. THC-V is involved in numerous ongoing studies and Jack the Ripper is very rare in how high it's THC-V levels are amongst commercial strains. Initial studies have found THC-V produced weight-loss results in lab rats, and may be effective at reducing seizures.

From an experiential standpoint, THC-V is also psychoactive but a little different experience than a typical THC high. The high is definitely unique with my Jack the Ripper. Of note is that this is the biggest creeper weed I've grown... by a LONG shot. You keep toking because it hasn't hit you and then - BAM! Once it does hit it's quick and you are really "up" and giggly. It affects the senses with things like enhanced vision and acute hearing.

JTR tastes like lemonade - this one a bit like Pink Lemonade. I believe this is probably the phenotype that Subcool actually calls the "Pink Lemonade" pheno. This is the mom that I grew a clone from in a previous grow, so I'm very familiar with her already.

To get some better pictures I took it out of the tent (it's tough to get good photos in the tent based on it's positioning). I've decided not to move on with Jack the Ripper in favor of finding something new.

She is being fed Blue Planet Nutrients 3-part, just like the plants in the Flo N Grow. Also like the plants in the Flo N Grow, she's getting the new Vita Blue, Seaweed and Early Bloomer additives from Blue Planet, too.:

Thanks Mrgivemethat! I like Subcool's stuff quite a bit. Should be doing a Jillybean next round, and a Vortex soon, too. If I had a larger space or was growing for anyone other than me, I'd keep the JTR in a heartbeat. She's a winner, but I've already grown her twice now, and have 2 other hybrids with JTR in it growing with her now, so I'll be JTR'd out for a bit I think. :)

looking great. is that a 6.5litre airpot? i love those, prefer them to larger pots en growin coco

Hi Cultivator - Thanks!

I believe it is the 7.5 liter, 2 gallon air-pot. It's a really nice size, and the way it allows for lateral root development it will grow a much larger plant than a standard pot that size. I'm guessing that's the one you meant - I don't believe there is a 6.5 liter version at this time. Air-pots rock - due to the large amount of air to the root-zone you get with them, I put straight up coir in them with no other amendments, and the plants love the simple set-up. :)
