Xlr8's Hydroponic Adventures & Photos From The Garden - 2012

Re: Xlr8's Hydroponic Adventures and Photos from the Garden - 2012

I probably worded it wrong Xlr8. I mean to say I (we) don't use MMJ as we have no need medically, but as caretakers for loved ones we're in a tough spot as it's not acceptable in the work world we live in even though we are in a MMJ state. We (I in this case since I dont know he will yet get her to use it for her chemo) are trying to provide the best care for our loved ones in need. And if that means MMJ, so be it. But we are also treading on thin ice.

:thankyou: Means a lot to me my friend. Thanks for your support and positivity brother, I really appreciate it. :high-five:

Heya Naph -

Thanks brother! I appreciate that, and I always enjoy seeing you around. How have you been - things going okay for you? Let me know when you get a moment if you don't mind. :)

Hey XL,

Thanks for the concern, all is well here bro, have been enjoying spring weather here in the mountains, got engaged to my girlfriend on saint patty's day, and am enjoying my retirement by sitting on my azz doing nothing, or whatever I want :)

Love the journal, I hope you never stop man, keep those pics coming, and vape some for me, cause It's lonely round these parts :Hookah:

Kind regards,

Re: Xlr8's Hydroponic Adventures and Photos from the Garden - 2012

I had been thinking of entering Nug of the Month this month, but after looking at the entries I'm deciding instead to just post the pics here.

After taking the pics, I don't think I'd stand a realistic chance against some of the other beautiful entries, but since I took a few pics of a couple nice nugs I thought I'd share them anyway.

The first nug I have 2 decent pics of, but I only got one decent pic of the other.

These are both from my Soma #10 "Lavender" plant that I grew in the last round. They are different buds and pics from the Lavender buds I entered in the past (just took these pics today). This particular "Lavender" doesn't have much purpling like some of them do - most looked more like these 2 nugs. ;)

Tastes like flowers - Lavender, specifically, and it's a very strong flavor/smell. Hit's really hard with a bit of a trippy start, and a couchlock finish. This plant was harvested in 2 stages, these nugs were from the first (8 week) harvest, and have much less couch-lock to them.

Great nug shots! Had to bring them over to this page.

Just got off the phone with Titan and actually spoke to one of the designers of the flo n gro. Had some VERY interesting things to say. I will be posting it on my thread later tonight. I have my grandsons baseball game tonight so I have to run but look for it later tonight.

Alaskan, I think you need to update the link in your sig. It appears broken and I'd love to check out that Flo & Gro info! :thumb:

So...You do smoke pot, but not medically, or do you just not use it at all? Just curious, sorry, I was confused by your post....:peace:

Re: Xlr8's Hydroponic Adventures and Photos from the Garden - 2012

 It's working now! Last night it took me to a page saying the page moved with a link to go to the moved page, and when I clicked the link I got a "Page Not Found". :thankyou:

Hey all Y'all, my eyes are burning from reading too many thread posts. But what I did see I liked. On the CBD tip is Master Control Units ATF, won SF Cannabis Cups 1st Place CBD category CBD 16.7% THC 10%. I have tried it and damn is it tasty and relived my pain quickly, smells like dinty more beef stew with really good chocolate . I am hoping that the seeds or cuttings become avail soon. :peace::Love:

No I haven not indulged since 1976. I am growing it to treat my 77 yr old mother with Alzheimer's, Glaucoma, etc.

Only have a few moments - I am spending holiday with family, and it's kept me busy and it's wearing me out. For the funniest reasons, too: I tend to do more sitting when I'm around other people, and sitting is really painful physically (but more comfortable socially). Of all the lame things, I end up miserable and in need of recovery from sitting! Doesn't help that I've been feeling rough anyway. Crazy side note: I put an ice pack on my back earlier, and (one of the metal plates?) stayed cold to touch through my skin for a long time! Never noticed this until now. Crazy weird feeling when medicated!!

I will be, thankfully, a little less busy next week - and will try to get caught up with you all when I have a moment and feel a little better physically. I have several PMs I promise to get to when I can too. :)

:thanks: everyone for all the support and concern - means a lot to me!!
