Re: Xlr8's Hydroponic Adventures and Photos from the Garden - 2012
Hi Casa Verde -
I've never used a 1000w lamp, so I don't really have an opinion on that, but you have an interesting theory!
I do know when it comes to bud size, nutrients play a small role, and light plays a very large role. The quickest path to bigger buds is always more light, but that can be a 400w or 600w with a well managed canopy, too. I've never been blessed with much space, so 400w lamps have always been what's worked best for me. I'd like to have a 600w or two, but I don't have the money or space at the moment. Appreciate you dropping by!
Note for everyone else: For anyone who hasn't seen Casa Verde's journal, check it out and prepare to have your minds BLOWN! Talk about a "Sea of Green". Also, some of the most beautiful purple flowers that you'll ever see. Casa Verde!
I wanna come back on those 400 watts , think the 400's have a better light spectrum than 600's anything above 600 without co2 can get easily overkill .
I think 600 watt on a m2 is more than enough .
I'm always scared with anyting above 600 , plants seem to have troubles with evaporate so they start evaporating from the inside and create budrot .
What your opinion on that >?
