Thanks for the props OMM! :)

Looking great, Bro! Just a few more weeks! :cheer:

:thanks: I can't wait - super stoked to try the Blueberry! Your AK and Royal Haze is starting to look pretty darn :yummy: too!

I've got one and it works great...no smell at all other than ona..now anyway!!

:Namaste:

Awesome Giantsfan - really glad to hear that you've got the smell in check now. Nice to hear the ONA bucket is working good! :woohoo:

Isn't this an awesome time of the grow xlr8? It seems like they can't look any better and somehow they do, day after day..... :bravo:

Perfectly said Blue! I couldn't agree more. :high-five:

Every day I look forward to "lights on" so I can go stare at them - it's mesmerizing when they get to this stage! This is the stage where you completely forget about hurdles and complications and problems - just start imagining the outcome! :)

I have to say - it's been fun doing a journal again. I did my last 3-4 grows without journaling or really even spending much time here - and it's not quite as fun. I'm also much more diligent since I've been journaling, and the journal helps me remember things better.

:thanks: everyone for helping make this so much fun!

Amen on the journal!

Unless he's said anything, and he probably has because we're an old, tight group of long-time friends, only one friend knows I grow and he purposefully is not coming by much to keep the attention and risk down. I'm surrounded by little old ladies who love to mind my business for me haha, I think I'm the most interesting thing going on in most of their lives and I'm really not very interesting, you know how it goes.

So anyhow if not for this forum I'd have nobody to share my grows with, and like you said this is so much better than growing alone. We can share our triumphs and tragedies and of course out tips to help each other out.

That DIY Odor Bucket is a perfect example, something I'd never think of and I'd either get lucky or busted because of the odor or spend 5x the amount on a purchased solution. Plus I'd probably be harvesting a month into flower haha.

:peace:

You know, that is very true. You can't, due to security, share your grows with anyone local. Here you can share them with everyone..it's nice to know you've got friends to talk with, figure stuff out with and enjoy the fruits of your labor with....

Go 420!

I agree 100%! If not for everyone here on 420, we'd have no one else with whom to share our "hobby". My best friends don't even know I'm growing and not telling anybody what's occupying a good chunk of our lives is tough!

I'm so with you when it comes to staring. It's very relaxing to just sit and watch the leaves floating on the breeze and taking in the smell! It's practically euphoric!

So true! What a strange secret life we lead - and so silly it needs to be a secret. Not even my closest friends know about my hobby. Just my wife and I. I love that I can come here and share ideas and talk about stuff that is so incredibly secret otherwise. I think Bandit had a great quote about growing that I read somewhere on here - something about living secretly in the shadows, slipping between the raindrops or something like that (kinda high, can't remember the quote!) Bandit - if you read this do you remember, and can you share it again?

No doubt about it Dime - I agree 420%! :)

Just realized that I forgot a word in a post, so I went back and just added the missing word (basically a typo). Never thought about this element before, but making that one word edit wiped out all the "likes" on that post (several people "liked" the post).

Makes sense, because if I made an edit and added that I was beating up puppies or something, people wouldn't want their "likes" attached to that...

Just a little thing I just learned and thought I'd share. Hopefully people still "like" (post #305) even though I added the missing word "grows" to it, lol!!

You learn something every day I guess!

:bong:

Edit: Now the "likes" are back. I'm so confused. I thought I learned something new here - maybe not! Maybe the edits get moderated? Maybe I'm high?! Wait, yes, I am high. Hmm.

I was going to "Like" this post, but I didn't want you to waste the rest of the day!

I got smoked in the Nug of the Month contest, lol. There are some really great looking plants and nugs on this site. Whew! It's fun participating though! We did our best, right Dime?

I'm going to have to up my game I guess - I'd love to win a contest on here so I can my hands on some of those great SNS products. Them's some nice prizes! Hopefully I'll get some good nugs from the Blueberry for a future entry.

On that note, since I'm blessed to have them subbed to my grow thread - Big congrats to Matanuska Valley on the POTM and to Hydrologist (and Heks) for giving him such a run this month. Awesome looking plants guys! :yummy:

Last but not least - Mad props Hemprocket - hands down, unopposed MOTM! :bravo:

:biglaugh::rofl: I hope it's not something that you "like" to do.

No way - love my dog. He is my best buddy and a hell of a great advanced warning system, lol! :)

man...that picture makes me want a cat....and a skunk! lol

I'd say this journal is xlr8ing!

Growers are a different breed my friend. We're like shadow people leading double lives and walking in between rain drops. - Bandit420

That's it! Great quote. :bravo: Bandit! and way to come through on that Blue. :thanks:

And oh yeah, it's xlr8ing like crazy. Love it - hard to keep up, but fun!
