Speaking of which - was checking out your newest light fixture idea - any concerns about the heat in the center where the bulbs are close to each other? I'm planning on eventually building something based off of your plans/experimentation, so I'm watching your set-up(s) with a lot of interest. Seemed like where the ends of the bulbs got close to one another there could be a whole lot of heat - but I might be overthinking it. Have you built it yet? Or wait - is that tomorrow's project?

As for the light, I won't know for sure until it's built but the heat should be sucked up and out before it causes any problems (crosses fingers). There will be a gap between the bulbs large enough to be able to screw/unscrew them, so they shouldn't be too close. Plus, I'm hoping that having the glass in place will keep the heat away too.

Right now with the 23W bulbs, I have to touch them to feel heat. The 42 watters get warm within an inch with the fan on and much more with it off.

Well what do you know! I have 4 of those seeds already! Guess they sounded good to me too.

Funny thing about pain... at my age and supposed acquired wisdom you'd think I'd be able to determine if the spliff kills the pain or merely dismisses it's presence from mind. I guess that makes it academic because in either event... it's gone for the while.

Very Cool OMM - Glad to see you tickled!

Hope you don't have the tribulations in the beginning that I had - but I am very pleased with where she's at so far. I'm loving her madly at the moment - really swelling up quickly and very frosty/pretty. Despite the funky start, I can definitely see trying this one again myself (assuming the smoke is also as good as they say).

As you said "assuming the smoke is also as good as they say". Trouble with growing a new strain is not new to me, so we will see. Of course that's why we try new ones. In all truth I've been luck trying new ones. Very few are actually bad.

Your girls are dressed elegantly for the prom! I love the group shot in the limo. You've done a fine job my friend, as they're looking very green, healthy and productive. Until I grew, I never understood how exciting frosting was. You've got to be thrilled with those!

Have to get me some of those Yo-Yo's. They make perfect sense.

Dime went right to the problem with the epoxy suggestion BTW. Maybe just a little sandpaper rough-up before applying to both sides of the crack. Then again, I'm sure you know that.

I will be digging out the epoxy I think after the grow - that was an excellent suggestion, and I hadn't thought of it yet. Seems obvious after Dime mentioned it. He's a handy dude!
